Asik is an excellent inside player, howard just can't get along with anybody. At least if he was half as effective as duncan, it could actually make sense.
Technically we still have Asik. I'd look at targeting Rondo through the Asik deal with that Pelicans pick, contract fillers, and Jones.
Daryl Morey at Parsons press conference: We just re signed our 3rd star who i thought was not a 3rd star a few months ago. Well he is now take my word for it. Get your season tickets folks. We are a 60 win team with this new star we have.
But they both only had one year left. Even though they were backups, we were probably going to get 50-60 minutes of playing time between the two. Now we have a razor-thin bench and possible both starting forward positions to fill.
Yeah, well, you forgot a 1st rounder (in the Lin trade), too. I'm going to go drink bleach now. Y'all have a nice night.
technically speaking can we still pull out of the lin/asik trades?? just wondering. Losing Lin for nothing sucks but isnt that bad but losing asik for nothing is a blow
If all this ends up really bad, then i am afraid we may loose Morey as well. Les was pissed about the whole Lin thing, and now this. Les also went on record saying very confidently we will be signing a "terrific FA". IF this ends horribly, it will be very embarrassing for Les and the Rox org. Albeit, IF Morey is let go because of all this- can you imagine how much chaos there will be within the rox org?
Lin was arguably the best backup pg in the league. First player in 26 years to record a triple double off the bench. The Rox lose him and a first round pick for pretty much nothing. Quit posting nonsense and wipe the egg off your face.
Please add me. Because this thread is 100% correct. Morey didn't need to gamble but did anyway. The result is we're screwed. You guys have been hyping Morey as the best GM all offseason, now it's "wait till Sunday". Gtfoh
