    By giving Bosh a 5 year max.

    For Rockets, and at 4 years, makes complete sense. Option 2/3.

    The Heat just lost with Bosh as option 3. How do they possibly win (it all... You know the point) with him as option 1 or 1b?

    I guess Riley won't be around in 4-5 years when the Heat haven't won another chip and are stuck with Bosh and Wade's salaries.

    I'm guessing their owner has gone into full Drayton McLane mode trying to salvage what he can and make the playoffs. This ridiculous signing is like the Astros getting Carlos Lee. Horrific for the Heat and the Rockets.
