    Suns just signed Isiah Thomas!

Make a move for Bledsoe now and pray they want NO pick.

Parsons and Bosh for 37 mil is and was a totally ridiculous idea...Now the rockets have essentially lost all of their trade-able pieces (lin, asik, parsons, 1st round pick) and have nothing to show for it. Morey talks to damn much. He needs a plan and needs to let teams grow and get better...now the team is gone..our leader is Howard or God forbid Harden...long summer

Add Ed davis to the list. Highly capable big man, would be handy depth.

If we can add Deng, then let Parsons walk, sign Pierce, Smith, Ed Davis and offer exception to Kirk Hinrich to be backup PG.

If we can add Gasol, keep Parsons, sign Pierce and captain Kirk.

You can't blame Morey for this, he did everything possible to bring a star here, it just didn't work out.

Or possibly make a move for Rondo and hope they want NO pick.

That pick may save our playoff lives.

So, trade chip - wise to get a deal done we are looking at the Pelicans pick, Capella, and maybe Jones and TMo, along with cap space to absorb a contract as significant positive assets for a trade if we get it done before Parsons?

Am I missing anything significant? Todorovic and Lllul and the like don't count as "significant", IMO.

We lost nothing. Get exception for Lin, so can absorb a contract without having to convince the other team the really need Lin.....

I would be offering hinkie motie for a 2nd and Young for TPE

You guys are forgetting Greg Monroe! We could also make a trade for Rajon Rondo still as well.

    Thaddeus Young in another option.

    Augustin/Beverley/Canaan
    Harden/Daniels/Johnson
    Parsons/Garcia/McDaniels
    Young/Jones/Covington
    Howard/Blatche

Sign Blatche and Augustin with our current cap space from the Lin trade, then trade Asik to the Pelicans, Motiejunas and Pelicans pick to Philly for Young and McDaniels.

Wait, Greg Monroe is also a RFA. Whoops. Can't go after him.

Pat not really starter type he just fit because we lacked offense on the bench. He pretty injured prone.

There is no trade for Love, especially now that Parsons is off the table.

This is post-Yao/McGrady-pre-Harden/Howard all over again.

Rockets begging, telling these free agents to take their money and no one is interested (so far). Crazy.

I heard that from ESPN. Dunno who said all that.

Man this really hurts our offseason. Hopefully Morey has some sort of back up plan to make this all right.

This is a nightmare. Wouldn't be surprised if Daryl Morey just flat out resigned tomorrow.
    Worst offseason ever.

Not entirely true. Hamilton still got PT for a while, but the reason you couldn't see him was because he was doing absolutely nothing on the court.

if you haven't heard by now lin was negative trade value. the rockets upgraded their 2015 pick through the asik trade who did not want to be in houston and sulked hard.
