I went to NBA.com and the trade is listed. Hope that means it is official. I do not want to get Sterned again!

If they could get Melo, I am sure they would do whatever it takes to get the needed space. But for Lin? Not so sure. ..

Solid player just inconsistent for his contract. Best of luck Mr. Lin

Think this is the best move for all involved. Lin fans shouldn't have anything to complain about, Lin gets to go back to his home state (could've been Philly..), fight for more PT, and get mentored by Nash (could prove to be vital for Lin's future). And we get to be rid of the infuriating enigma that is Jeremy Lin. Win-Win.

Why does Lin have a ball? He's not gonna get it much with Kobe hogging it all game. This is Lin/Melo all over again.

Anyways, glad to see Morey got to unload Lin for just a couple picks. That's a fantastic deal for the Rockets.

Will be nice to have Rockets talk get to be about Rockets without devolving into something else. But we will have to endure constant "Lin had a good game" crap for a while.

Anywho, good location for Lin. He will have a chance to bond with Randle and be the a major cog. It will be a chance to prove he can co-exist with and not shirk from playing with a major star in Kobe Bryant.

I'll be watching him. I generally wish well for players.

Lin will never be appreciated by the folks on this site, but he was a key player in their 2 runs to the playoffs and was the Rockets' 2nd best two-way player in the loss to Portland in round 1 of the 2014 playoffs. He played well enough to help put his team in a position to win 4 games (they won 2). He improved as a defender, off the ball player, and 3 pt shooter. He'll do very well with the Lakers.

Lin can play, but it just didn't work out here for a multitude of reasons.
He's got a much better chance to succeed in L.A. as opposed to Philly.

    Finally!

No more LOFs. Plus, Friedman is gone.

Great day to be a Rockets fan.
