I am not sure about the first point. You have to take the good with the bad.
Suarez is the best striker next to Ronaldo who is actually a winger on club level and on National team side.
I think kids are creatures that easily forget at least I am confident they will.

-) Neymar and his shady financials? As a normal fan you don't think twice about that unless it is really a big scandal that will harm the club long term.

-)Have you gotten financial numbers of the FC Barcelona? They just sold Alexis, Cesc and couple of other players to finance this kind of deal.
Because of the Vampire incident the price for Suarez should have dropped.

Would Neuer be happy being the CL + important cup games keeper with Navas being the "play against most of the Bundesliga's teams that pose no threat to BM" keeper?

It is a weird move for sure.

Yeah, I guess the debt thing isn't a big deal. I think all of the European Leagues have problems with this and almost brought the downfall of my own club, Feyenoord. So it's not just Barcelona - - I didn't really mean to single them out but it doesn't help the overall picture.

The Neymar point isn't about his personal finances, but rather the shady way he was signed by the club. The president even had to resign following the controversy.

About Suarez - I personally think he's a disgrace. How do you bite an opponent THREE TIMES? It's absolutely crazy and just brings the club he's with down a notch or two.

Oh and let's not forget the club is banned from transfers (currently on hold) because of their dodgy dealings in youth transfers.

I would assume Pep will use Keylor in the cup games, so Neur in the Bundesliga and CL. Same was used in Barca with Pinto and Valdes

Well, maybe Neuer's masterplan worked and he'll play as a libero from now on.
Maybe the German defense agreed to look like **** in the Algeria match, so that Neuer could show all his skills in front of Pep and the world.

This is not a model that works in Germany. It's something weird they are doing in Spain, nobody else does that. Pep needs to learn to stop messing with good things, or he will be gone sooner than he thinks.

It's like building up Philipp Lahm as a competition to Schweinsteiger, rather than using them both to their full strength. The former is stupid, as we have seen last year, the latter is good, as we are seeing during this world cup.

Then he buys a left wing defender as a competition to Alaba. He seems to want to mess with all the positions where we are actually strongest. Plus, he is a manic obsessive control freak.

I liked some of the football he played initially, but he has taken the joy out of Ribery's game already, and he is messing up too much stuff. Seems like a nice guy, but he needs to watch it.

Bayern is not Barca. Bayern has its own identity. Either he grasps that or he is gone.

Edit: The other thing is, Bayern should stop picking up so many Spanish-speaking players. You need a mix, or it will inevitably lead to factions within the overall group. It's just not clever.

    ^^
Sammer stated they didn't buy Bernat as a competition for Alaba and will move Alaba to other positions in the future. Alaba talks about wanting to be a midfielder so often, think they made him a promise to play him there in the next years. Think we'll see a 3-6-1 with Bernat as LB and Alaba as a 6 or left defensive wing.

We have enough good midfielders. Pep wants to move everyone to midfield, it's ridiculous.

Great post. Pep has always been a control freak and he isn't about to change. So if it's as you say, he will soon be gone.

Funny thing is lots of sports shows in the US are crediting the success of Germany in this WC to Pep. Something about Tiki-Taka in Super Saiyan mode.

Like I said before, it's no secret that our board is run by a bunch of morons... 2 reasons why we are buying so much this transfer season: 1) Like you mentioned the upcoming ban, and 2) 2016 is elections at Can Barca.

Both of you(I guess add Reeko & Yung-T to the mix for Barca & Bayern fans) should go kick rocks.

Some of us support teams that won't even be playing in Europe at all.
You don't know the struggle bro.:(
You don't know what it's like to support a $hitty team like United. So many years of struggle for us but one day they will make it to the Champions League again. One day. :(:(:(

Actually ajax also does this. But only to keep their second goalkeeper vermeer happy.

    I agree it is stupid.

I also do not understand getting a new goalkeeper.
