cash amount was probably the least they can get away with for the league to approve the trade.

Trading Lin in itself is a win.

The guy is terrible and overpaid.

No. They won't be useful to us.

If we sign Bosh outright, we have to renounce them.

If we sign and trade for Bosh, we will be hard capped at the apron, which we will get close to by matching Parsons' contract.

The only way they are useful is if we SnT for Bosh and DO NOT match Parsons.

Credit to you for realizing your error.

Lots of people were more than happy to classify Lin as an $8.3 million player (when that was his CAP HIT, not actual salary) when it suited their agenda.

But now that Lin's cap hit is significantly lower than his actual salary, suddenly it's his ACTUAL SALARY that matters.

Lin makes $5 million but is $8.3 million cap hit --> He "makes" $8.3 million

Lin makes $15 million but is $8.3 million cap hit --> He "makes" $15 million

    These people's agendas were showing.

Aren't you suppose to get something in return in a trade?

The trade for Lin only cost the Rockets a 2nd round pick, but getting rid of LOF is what's costing them the 1st round pick, lol

Lin will always have many haters no matter what he does, just because of who he is. I wish Lin success and all the best in Los Angeles or wherever he winds up and make the LOH's who will somehow still talk about Lin nonstop on Clutchfans look stupid and eat their words.

Just wanted to chime in, and say HELL YEAH. Bring on Bosh.

Btw, I do wish good luck for Jeremy. He had his faults, but he was a good guy (albeit overpaid).
