Now that Jeremy Lin is gone, who will we put the majority of the blame if we don't meet expectations next season?
Oh it's all on Milk Hair this year. He wasn't a very good coach last year and if they lose early in the playoffs this year he has to be gone. Harden's effort and defense is probably second on the list.
1) McHale (he already got just as much blame as Lin did this postseason) 2) Beverley (without Lin, he doesn't get automatic goodwill from LOH types) 3) Parsons (much of his appeal was from his artificially deflated contract) 4) Harden (if his D doesn't improve)
McMilkHairFail, duh. Someone already bumped the Official Fire McHale thread. What's fandom without hatred?
I'm sure there will be people blaming him while he's in Los Angeles. Truthfully, the people blaming Lin, blaming Harden, blaming Howard, it gets old. What happened to the days of giving a team 2 or 3 years AT LEAST, to come together?
No way Parsons will be able to live up to his contract. But if Rockets win big, it will all be forgiven.
It's definitely going to be Parsons. Jeremy would not have been ridiculed as much if he didn't make 8 million. Parsons makes 15.
Now that Chandler Parsons has a max contract, the heat is going to be on him to live up to that contract. The good news is, if he happens to fall short of expectations, I doubt anybody is going to claim it is because McHale is racist and has it out for Parsons.
McHale is top of the list. Can't complain about talent in the starters at this point. Then possibly Parsons if he underperforms, though he's pretty steady. Then expect Harden's defense and Howard's TO's in the post. Morey's got a pass for the next year at least... all he's got to work with is minimum contracts and draft picks now.
