We would have the worst depth in the NBA. I would put parsons in a 6th man roll, similar to Ginobli and Harden in OKC. Bev would have to learn how to facilitate the ball a little better and only take shots that come to him.

We would still need a lot of work before our roster is compete.

    Depth is overrated.

Miami and Portland had hardly any depth.

Marc Stein is saying on Sportscenter that Bosh would take less money to help Houston sign him. So Miami's rumored backup plan to give him a 100 million dollar deal probably wouldn't be a problem for the Rockets I would think.

Besides Jones, what did they really produce for us last year and in the playoffs?

DMo plays too small. Neither are good for backup centers.

Give me the better player in Jones please.

T Jones is a solid contributor and have huge potential. Daniels can see a much increased role as a sniper and evidence suggests he will do very well in that role. Canaan and Covington have not proven much at this point. DMo is tall but hasn't shown too much value yet.

I'm exhausted of hearing that excuse.

Both players had potential, only TJones is fulfilling his. The potential card is old, the clock is ticking. Time to at least see some consistency to build on.

Exactly. We are in win-now mode. DMo has "potential" but Jones is miles ahead of him at this point. If we can only keep one, it should be a no-brainer to keep Jones. We are trying to win a championship here and Jones brings a lot more to the team at this point.

Just tell me what legit chance did DMo get and you'll have a substantial argument. 15 minutes of spot production is nothing.

Dmo is not getting significant playing time with us next year. Let him go.

Question I have and I didn't see it posted anywhere but I am sure it's been discussed. If all of this goes as planned what type of money do we have to sign backups?

    Which exceptions and stuff?

    Thanks in advance.

The need to keep one of Jones and DMo. We need a backup PF behind Bosh. DMo can play backup C too, and Jones is probably more attractive in the trade market. I think DMo will stay.

Jones is off the table as far as I'm concerned. Dmo has some value in the league - maybe not as much as Jones but we are essentially giving him away and he isn't signed to an unreasonable contract so I don't see why we couldn't find a taker...maybe throw in a protected 2nd round pick as a sweetener if it's a little more difficult.
