I second this....everyone has to do what's best for them. can't risk the team because of what someone else might or might not do.

LOL! I would love to have a month of doing whatever I want before making big decisions. Typically peons have to make life changing calls when they are exhausted and emotionally drained.

Exactly right, it seems strange to want Bosh - if he TRULY wanted to be here he would have already signed, it almost feels like we are getting the left overs by a guy who is not really in love with the game in the first place.

Yeah, I dont think that will work on Bosh. He wants to play with Lebron I think he waits no matter what.

I think they'll give bosh until sat night. If he agrees then, they should get everything done as long as the Lin and asik trades are already agreed upon. If they aren't, then I'd give bosh 24 hours from now

This line of thinking is ridiculous to me. They're playing a game of chicken because the Heat org isn't man enough to tell Bosh they're signing Melo instead of him?

If that were the case they wouldn't even offer Bosh a contract.

    Why?
    He already has a deadline . . .. .

What difference does it matter if we sign Chandler on Day 1 or Day 3?
other than limiting our other options

Well as this is day 2, and it would take time to get all the other deals done, you have to get it done before the deadline or you won't be able to get it done.

That's rediculous. I wouldn't be surprised at all if the Rockets let Parsons walk if Bosh hasn't made a decision by Sunday night.

I'm sure Morey's given Bosh a deadline already. He probably had a timeline when the offer was made. Obviously, we can't sit around forever when the whole offseason is built on timing.

    This is such dumb reasoning.

He either wants to be part of a team that has gone to four straight finals alongside the best player on the planet or he wants to be here.

    It's not leftovers.

Not happening. Morey is all in on bosh. If we lose both of them, so be it. Build the bench. If bosh takes too long, but we get him but lose parsons, that's still better value than just parsons.

My only fear is that all this will pass and nothing happens like the Omer Asik self imposed trade deadline.

The NBA sets aside ten days for this exact reason. All players know that they have until July 10th to make a decision before things can happen. What is wrong with saying that you think it's personally a bad decision to drag things beyond the point where things are supposed to begin moving. If LeBron makes his decision during that time a lot of the drama goes away because nobody is really waiting on him. Once he took it beyond that point he made it a wait on LeBron situation. For a guy that is trying to handle his second decision in a better way media relations wise that is not a smart move.

Wasn't aware that Bosh had an offer on the table, as of yet.

LOL - that is the definition of left overs, he wants to be in Miami - but will settle for Houston.

This would be stupid - to lose a good asset for nothing is not a good move, and you can always use Chandler's contract in a S&T later.
