So since Morey has to sign Bosh BEFORE Parsons, will he make the trip to Ghana just to get it done? Will this be the first signing on foreign soil? So many questions
Now . .. . . . for a word from our sponsor <iframe width="560" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/2--uG4QMlA0" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> Rocket River
So . . . . If he signs in Ghana . .. . does it count GHANA time or does the time zones make a difference *grin* Rocket River
Hopefully he's likely back tomorrow. If Lebron does announce tonight Saturday maybe the craziest day in Moreys life. He has to execute several trades, sign Bosh and then match Parsons all before Sundays deadline.
Seems so impersonal. Also, I'd imagine any email promising an excess of $88million would end up in the Spam folder with all the other Nigerian princes

Got a question that may already have been answered.. Can we not match parsons and then do a 4 team sign and trade for bosh? We have salaries in Lin and asik to send out but can NO and phi get involved with the cap rules? Heard a caller on 790 and it made sense...
Matching or not matching Parsons does nothing for anything else we do short of having a hard cap. If we don't match him, we get an extra $2.8mil in capspace. That's it. Can't trade him or S&T him. The Rockets can do a lot of things, including completing a 4 team trade like you said so Bosh can get his max money and the Rockets can operate above the salary cap through their available MLE. But Parsons situation is independent of all those.
Matching Parsons before Bosh is signed takes the option of signing him with cap space completely off the table which COULD mean no Bosh at all depending on Miami's willingness to play ball and the ability to construct a multiple team trade package.
They've already spoken to Bosh at length. It's just a matter of sending him a contract and letting him sign it electronically at this point.
Seeing the story about the "Gilbert Letter" still being an issue makes me think this whole thing was a charade that James is using to get back at Gilbert to make him the bad guy in Cleveland. That is one of the very few things that had leaked and it is right before his decision after Cleveland thought they had him. In my mind, he is absolute garbage if he goes back to Miami at this point. This is all going to backfire on him horribly and is much worse than The Decision if that is the case. If the letter is the reason for not going to Cleveland, I understand. But for him not to know that all along is complete BS.
I can't believe James would toy with Cleveland fans emotions like this. These are his true hard core fans and to do it twice would be... sadistic.
Thanks for scaring the crap out of me. I pretty much stopped using ESPN because of their horrible autoplay.
Why did he fly back to Miami with Wade? Is that true...now Im not as secure that he is going back to Cleveland...will there be any backlash at Bosh holding us up because hes waiting for Lebron instead of being able to make a decision for himself?
He cannot win this one Barring something bizarre Going to Cleveland looks like abandoning Ship He goes back to Miami .. he just toyed with everyone Rocket River
