Ha. <blockquote class="twitter-tweet" lang="en"><p>After LeBron James makes his decision, he should give a new version of that "go back to your sorry lives" speech he made after losing to DAL</p>— Michael Lee (@MrMichaelLee) <a href="https://twitter.com/MrMichaelLee/statuses/487338572672819200">July 10, 2014</a></blockquote> <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script> Spoiler
Maybe he is waiting to see if Cleveland can reach a deal for Kevin Love. Maybe in their meeting yesterday Riley and his cap guy came up with an idea that they have to sell to Wade and Bosh. Maybe he's waiting for family members to be bunkered up in Ohio so they don't have to deal with media. Maybe as part of his contract with Nike they have control of the announcement. Maybe the Heat are trying to convince another player to sign on for the minimum. Maybe the Heat are working on some stupid trade that makes him happy. Maybe he just wants to wait until his skills camp is over to make the announcement so he doesn't have to deal with the media again. There are still reasons he may be waiting that don't involve him being a douche.
Because it is Akron and there isnothing better to do there, especially when half the city is unemployed.
All understandable, but if he is indeed aware he's going to cleaveland and is just waiting for some understandable reason, he still has to make Bosh aware of his decision immediately so he can make the best choice for his career, If Bosh is going to sign here things need to start happening now.
I won't call Lebron a douche until he waits so long it actually hurts Bosh's career. It's not there yet. He's not a douche because we're too impatient to wait a few hours.
Well he's not a douche if it hurts Bosh if he told him not to wait on him. Lebron and Bosh spoke over the weekend and something in that conversation prompted Bosh to reach out to the Rockets, first via his agent and then directly. Might Lebron have said "Look man, I don't know what I'm going to do. You need to do what's best for you." If Bosh waits around for Lebron despite that and ends up burned, that's on nobody but Bosh.
That's the problem with Lebron, he thinks he's better than everyone else. He's loving that he has the entire nba world on standstill because it proves to him that's he's better than everyone. He knows his decision, his ego is the reason we don't know his decision. Power trip...
None of this fits with anything that anyone who has played with him, coached him or worked with him actually says about him.
When athletes don't follow the process that the media and the fans create for them then they get trashed.

Why is this so difficult? LBJ has his Skills Camp in Vegas. He leaves for Brazil on Saturday, signing his contract before he goes and letting his agent notify the press. Media frenzy ensues as he leaves the country. I wouldn't be surprised if he gives his first new-contract speech from the ESPN studios on Copacabana Beach on Sunday night.
Barking up the wrong tree. I've never been a big Lebron fan. Enjoyed watching him with Cleveland, especially with the whole hometown angle, but couldn't stand him chasing championships with Miami. When it finally worked out and he got not 1, but 2 rings with Miami, I started to lighten up a little on him. Wouldn't say I was a fan, but quit hating him. As I said before, my refrigerator has been restocked with a fresh supply of Haterade after this.
