lol funniest post here they need to take the player max out, still have a salary cap but no player max. That way, a guy like Lebron will get what hes really worth and take up most of the cap, lets say $40M a year, and role players will be paid accordingly.

A factor with race deals with perception. Parson's is seen as a fun loving, charming, friendly type character that just screwed over our franchise by doing a deal with are arch enemy. The majority of ppl will say "I hate Cuban, but kudos to Chandler he deserves it". If Chandler Parsons was african american, under the same circumstances, the consensus would be "he's selfish for leaving Houston, only cares about $$$". Since Chandler's perception is he's a good kid, most fans give him the benefit of the doubt. Even what he did was a complete dick move

Not sure how parsons is the dick here. Dallas made him the offer. He deserves to get paid. He played on a super cheap contract for the past 3 seasons and brought in dwight. the Rox declined his option. They gambled. Lost. who pays for dinner now when chandler and lin go out to dinner. They're set to make the same $ next season.
The NBA should sell Parsons jerseys to girls. If they did even with the new contract he would be underpaid.
