Who would be the replacement? Shane Battier is not the answer lol. Luol Deng is decent, but does he even want to play with us? It's not that easyto go and find a replacement starting SF. Say what you want about Parsons, he filled a lot holes for us offensively. Defensively, he regressed obviously, but he's still all-around better than most of our other options at our disposal.
Cuban is playing defense as a franchise with this signing, he is trying to handicap the Rockets - by either taking one of their best players with no compensation, or locking up the Rockets cap by forcing them to match. Cuban just Moreyed, Morey. DD
there are other options. trying to upgrade the 1, and just finding a fill in at the 3, until we can find a better one, even next year.

Defense must had sucked cause bosh was their starting forward. Somehow he still managed to get 2 rings with his poor defense.
you need to read my post, thorougly, never said bosh's d was poor. i said we need lock down perimeters at the 1 and 3 to make up for harden. so even with bosh, having harden and parsons will cause us to have a weak perimeter D. miami's perimeter D was all NBA.
