    Really?

    C - Howard
    PF - Bosh
    SF - Pierce
    SG -Harden
    PG -Beverley

Pierce and Bosh add veteran leadership and experience to the Rockets and drastically improve the defense.

Not really a fan of Pierce at this stage of his career, and to be honest, not really a fan of the person.

If I had my druthers, would rather push hard for Deng, even if I have to pay more.

    1. Losing Parsons means a 40 minute hole in the rotation. Seriously, that guy played so many minutes for us because of all the little things he did.

    2. Losing Parsons means losing about half the assist production in the starting 5. He was like a point forward with his assists & hockey assists.

    3. Losing Parsons puts Rockets further from our goal to have motion in our offense like the motion offense seen beautifully orchestrated by the Spurs in the finals. People always say "glue guy, glue guy. He's our glue." Glue is sticky, Parsons is slick. To me, he's more like our grease. His cuts, curls, and rollerskating movement helped us fight back times when the ball would get sticky with guys just standing around.

    4. Losing Parsons means you can kiss all our easy-bucket transition offense goodbye. Of course he wasn't the only one running, but go re-watch that video of the "54 season dunks" by Parsons. So many dunks where he is 20 ft ahead of the nearest defender in fast breaks. Parsons was our gazelle. If it wasn't him, it was Harden with Parsons running in tandem to overload the transition defense. Parsons was or uptempo offense.

How would we get Deng and Bosh? TPE? I thought someone mentioned that the cavs would halve to renounce the rights of Deng in order to sign James, which would make the whole deal impossible?
