Declines are not as steep for a guy with his skill set. Good technique and a smooth mid range jumper. Look at Dirk. His decline hasn't been steep. Declines are steep for players whos games depend on there athleticism.

THis. Plus, another factor is body type/weight and for a players with bosh's frame i wouldnt worry about it.

Some reporter said on Twitter that James got on a plane and left for Brazil early.

In regards to defense and rebounding, bosh has lenght so he doesnt have to rely on athelitism for this, so that is another plus.

You sure it wasn't the report saying he isn't heading to Akron, not specifying when he'll leave for Brazil?

Shelburn just minutes ago tweeted a photo of him playing pickup in Vegas. I sincerely doubt he's leaving without a decision being made if it isn't already made (and his people are doing something in the background to prepare).

Of course he's not. It's just further proof that you shouldn't buy into what random twitter sources spew.

They are DYING to gain credibility.

Staying in Las Vegas during announcement and then going straight to Brazil after is best case scenario for LeBron. He doesn't want to be mobbed by rabid MIA or CLE media. He's actually trying to make this NOT into "The Decision" part 2.

He'll still get mobbed of course but it won't be as bad in Las Vegas/Brazil as it would in CLE or MIA.

So he meets with Riley of the Heat and then decides to forgo his trip to Akron, Ohio and just go straight to Brazil following announcing where he will sign.

Maybe he doesn't want to go home to Akron when he announces he is staying in Miami and deal with issues?

My wife's down visiting her family in Brazil.

She'll be coming back in a few days. Maybe I can get her to camp out in the Rio airport for pictures as Bron passes through.

Not that she'd do it, but she'd be REALLY annoyed when I tell her, "What'd I use the photo for? For REP, honey, for REP!"

    "What's 'rep'?"

"Green bars next to my username! You know, on that website I'm always on?"

"O que?! 'Ta brincando comigo, rapaz?"
