Maybe... I think with this team you add a Paul Pierce to give us 15 minutes a night would do wonders for this team.

Cap ramifications though..... but adding Bosh makes us an enticing spot for players like Mike Miller/Ray Allen/etc etc

No, he didn't. Half the time he turned the ball over. The more teams attempt to have non-playmakers create shots instead of their stars, the more the Rockets benefit.

Been proven over and over again that perception isn't always reality.

That's why they keep track of the stuff with stats.

Just because it looked to you like it was happening doesn't mean that it was actually effective.

He shot 41/32 from the field and 3. Put up a whopping 9.7 PER. And a giant offensive rating of 102. All WAY down from his regular season numbers.

Matthews abused no one in that series.

But that's all off topic for this thread.

Ego?? He hounded Dwight all last summer to get him here, and he even put in a recruiting call to Lowry earlier this summer to sell him on the Rockets. He doesn't have an ego. He does however want to get paid, and that's exactly what he went out and did.

In this scenario we would have to part with T Jones/Lin/Nick Johnson/1st round pick

Couldn't have been signed if we're working on SnT scenarios. Once an offer sheet is signed you can only either match or not. Sign and trades must be worked out ahead of time.

If there is a S&T I'd love for the Rockets to net themselves a 1st w/ heavy protection for 2-3 years which then drops off to ensure we don't see it until Dirk is done and Parsons is option #1 or 2 for the cash-strapped non-contending Mavericks.

Then why does he want to stay in Dallas huh? We aren't talking SNT because Morey want to. We are talking about it because Parsons like Cuban and doesn't want Houston to match.

    No we wouldn't.

We would part with one possible first round pick and future second rd picks. Which is well worth having our MLE and BAE this year.

lol if matthews kept scoring on harden with 1 on 1 iso's, id say its pretty that pretty effective. he did it the whole series lol. If you think your numbers tell you otherwise then you know very little about the game.

i agree...usually hardens post defense is better than his perimeter but for some reason matthews had his way during that series.

After deducting 15% for his agent and giving the government its share, that $46M is only $23.5M. How do we expect Chandler to get by over the next three years?

There's a laundry list of things I'd do for $46 mil including personally wiping Cuban's ass after he takes a ****.

What series did you watch? It only worked a couple times at the beginning, it actually worked to our favor after games 2-6.

If he kept scoring on 1 on 1 isos. How did he shoot 41% from the field. And only average 14 points and only take 12 shots per game? If it worked so flawlessly why didn't they give it to him every damn time?
