If you know anything about Mark Cuban, that picture is totally him. That was pure PR for the MFFLs plain and simple.

I thought I read it was going to be emailed to him.

If not, what is the official process?

I really don't know what you're talking about or who you are, but it's funny that you're so emotional, lol. What's even funnier is that you claim I had no knowledge of the salary cap, but disregarded my point about the trade exceptions. Instead you start ranting like a lunatic. A "tier 1 gm" and collector of "assets" should be able to use two ostensibly large trade exceptions to bring in a guy like Stephenson. Now go sit in the corner and shut your mouth because you look stupid, "ninja."

    You're welcome

Morey opened himself up to this when he decided to put Parsons out there. Pure and simple. Trying to blame Parsons for taking Cuban's money is just stupid.

Not really, after a year and those guys are gone or as we've see in the past they get traded with the players' consent.

I don't know why everybody is hating on Parsons. Morey making him a RFA is NOT just a favor to Parsons. It was a calculated risk Morey took for the benefit of the TEAM. You guys can go back and read Bima's analysis on Parsons's contract situation. There were pros and cons for declining the team option.

Also, Parsons cannot control whether he will play for Cuban or not. Morey can match and he's back to being a Rocket. Why do people think Parsons signed because he wanted to play with Dirk? RFAs sign the best contracts they can get and let their incumbent teams decide whether to match.

And it's funny how many posters here were willing to get rid of Parsons for Love but now think Parsons is a traitor.

I'm happy for Parsons. He's been arguably the best value in the NBA, and this is his reward. Les can afford it. It'll be interesting to see what Les does after we sign Bosh-- or not.

What technically does it take to match? Could the Rockets offer a 4 year deal at $56M? I know it doesn't shave a ton off, but it might free up a few bucks. Or do we have to match the deal dollar for dollar, year for year?

    Can anyone confirm this question?

The Rockets do not have the CP25 offer sheet "in hand" AND THUS the "clock (72 hours to match)" has not started yet?

    Just want to be clear.
