He screwed Wade out of 42m. I guess they will start burning jerseys on South Beach.

That was Steven A's "description" of the purpose of that meeting/workout session in Vegas between DWade and LBJ, not my words.

I agree though, this move is the only way LBJ becomes "loved" in Cleveland and by the major media at large, if he does in fact go back he is a hero again, even if he doesn't bring them a championship ultimately.

Has Steven A Smith ever put his reputation on the line as far as breaking stories? I cannot recall so he must be sure of his sources to come out and say this..

They didn't have to opt out. That was their choice. They are the only ones that needed to make a choice but deferred to someone who doesn't have their best interest in mind. I don't think Lebron told them to opt out.

LBJ is a "diva" because he has to make a life altering decision for him and his family? LBJ is a "diva" because he's one of the best in the world and players and teams WANT to wait for his decision before they make theirs?

From the outside looking in, seems like an easy decision to make. But how about being in LBJ's shoes when trying to decide what would be best for him, his family, his future, his legacy, etc.

Wouldn't it be awesome if he threw CLE under the bus again and surprise everyone with the DECISION to come to Houston???

This is the first time I slightly believe Lebron might go back to Cleveland bc SAS was the dude who first broke the news of him going to Miami but then again who knows..I still tend to believe Lebron will go back to Miami but Im hoping its Cleveland..hope this drama ends real soon

I can't believe he's going to sign there without ever meeting with Gilbert, the GM, or the new coach.

    No he didn't.

I'm 100% sure he told them when they met he would explore the market and they should do what is best for them.

he means in terms of basketball... not marketing or business, and besides being in the east, Houston is by far the superior basketball location.
