    I know, right?

That max contract has to look mighty tempting to Dirky right about now.

F him. Let him walk. Don't even bother matching this overrated player who talks big and can't back his talk.

    Let him walk.

Too big of an ego and a very over-rated player at this point esp for this contract.

Talks big and then has his clock cleaned.

He will fit in well with the arrogant phoneys at Dallas

FA Howard: I think in going to Dallas. They had the best pitch. Cool cartoon

HOU Parsons: Dallas sucks, bro. Sign here. Floridians ride together, bro.

FA Howard: you're right. But only because you texted me 24/7 to come to h-town.

    1 year later ...

FA Parsons: I'm signing with Dallas! I love their uptempo style. Looking forward to reuniting with Sammy Dally. Calderon is an underrated PG. Oh they're not? $15 mil is still uptempo enough for me right now.

    HOU Howard: ...

    Exactly.
Add to that you have a shot to improve dramatically

Who is the free agent market next year?
Ar you willing to have another disappointing year waiting on that?

Do we expect Chandler to take the leap to Harden level?

I'd have more sympathy for Howard if the guy screwing over Howard wasn't a dude that was so broke (by NBA standards) he let Dwight cut his hair so he would buy him a car.

I was surprised when they didn't pick up Parson's option, but I was sure Morey knows what he's doing. Also I'm sure Morey KNEW this could happen but most of us didn't (I guess we blindly trusted Parsons), so we can criticize only based on hindsight. If Morey knew Parsons will most likely sign a max offer and we didn't, how can we criticize something before it happens?

After being utterly pissed off last night seeing those Cuban and Parsons pics at the gay club smiling together, I slept on it and I think we need to move on from Parsons. Let Dallas have him and give him that "ridiculous contract" (Melo quote). Parsons is not that much better than Marion, and Dallas has not improved that much this off-season. Thanks Parsons for Dwight lol. At least we got a real Super-Star for you. You'll get exposed in Dallas soon enough that you're not that great and it was our uptempo system that made you. You're just a system player and you never will be a star in this league. So enjoy while it last because it won't last long for you.

If Parsons stays in Dallas, I want to see Dwight's' reaction.

I'm just surprised by what appears to me that Parsons wants out.

He knew the Rockets situation and allegedly the Rockets spent all day yesterday negotiating with him and got nowhere.

Seems to me he WANTS the Rockets to decline to match this deal. He's partying up with the Mavs owner, signing the offer sheet as soon as possible...He and his agent know this put the Rockets in a bind.

They didn't get Boozered the way Cleveland did, but they got Boozered. Morey did Chandler a favor and got burned.

Ouch...Has your best friend become "ex" before or after he got together with your ex fiance?

Because Parsons sure wasn't our "ex" before the pictures... :)

Agree...taking pics together and *****, and his friend going at us and management on twitter.

Didn't expect this from twitter...I wouldn't look at him the same.

But who knows...morey has a way with pissing off our players when its time for contract negotiations...

Parsons is a douche, I wish Lin was part of his contract so we could send him off too.

To answer this, if the salary cap goes up, Parson's max could potentially rise above what the built in raises would be and therefore a trade kicker could take him up to the new max.
