I grew up in Houston and always liked Dallas but it wasn't until the last few years that I started to understand why everyone hates Dallas. It is full of douche bags that crap on Houston at every chance.

I was born in the real south Oklahoma (the real actual state of Oklahoma). My family is all from Norman. Boomer Sooner! Just call it Dallas, that name sucks enough.

I still love the man. The dark side can screw up your brain at times.

Hopefully he can see the light!

Envy implies we want to be them, not the case whatsoever.

People who come to Houston are always impressed by the hospitality and friendlyness whereas Dallas is known for a tv show about disgusting fake people and the media created "America's Team" bull****.

Besides, Houston was at one point the Capital of the Republic of Texas and was founded LONG before Dallas....so if anything Dallas should aspire to be us.

Why not, at one point it was.

Plus Houston was named after Sam Houston.

One of my first memories of Dallas was hearing white collar adult men using the N-word casually in public. I'm definitely not a fan, but for $46M, I can probably learn to live with it 9 months out of the year.

It's less than 80 miles. The way a true Texan drives, that's under an hour....and I saw plenty of OU **** when I did my time in Texahoma.

It's basic geography –*check this 12-year-old map. You can clearly see the Oklahoma borders.

Yeah, I could normally get from north Dallas to the OK border in under an hour. I'm sure the northern area has been more developed since last time I was up there, so maybe it takes longer now.

    Oh my, that is funny.;)
