The biggest loser in all this is Dirk. He's giving Dallas a home town discount and they went out and offer a non-All star player a max contract.

Because it's a low blow move. People on here don't want to see the real Morey. Book smart can only get you so far, get some people's skills bro. They saying Dan Fegan got him his money. No naive gullible mothet****er. If you know Cuban or just watch the nba in general or even an episode of shark tank you'll know you don't **** with him.

Wow. Somebody loves them some Mark Cuban.

If Cuban was so damn smart, why did he let Tyson Chandler go to F/A after winning a title only to trade back for him 3 years later?

If he was this unbeatable businessman, why was he filming episodes of Shark Tank while his team was trying to woo Derron Williams?

If he is so smooth and has "people skills" then how did Morey manage to sign Dwight instead? Or for that matter, why hasn't Carmelo signed there yet?

If he was that much of a basketball guru, why did he let Steve Nash go in F/A right before he won 2 MVP's?

If you are playing at home the next move is letting Cuban choke on his hubris move and letting Dirk slowly rot off as Parsons chokes off any remaining hope of Dallas putting together a championship team for him.

Sucks to admit as a rockets fan. But as Chandlers move illustrates, it's just business

Yeah, because it's the smartest, savviest businessmen who have reality shows, not the egomaniacs.

I would agree with you if the year was 2006 or 2007.

Our players will never grow old with us, because our team management is cutthroat and unloyal. Just look what Rocket's management did to Hakeem. :(

It takes two to tango. Dirk was willing to take a hometown discount where as Hakeem was not (if memory serves me correct).

[rQUOTEr]Sources say that Nowitzki received strong interest in free agency from the Houston Rockets and the Los Angeles Lakers to leave Dallas for max-level money but refused to engage in negotiations with either team.

Nowitzki consented to such a steep pay reduction -- from last season's $22.7 million to the roughly $8 million he'll get for this coming season -- to give the Mavericks added flexibility to strengthen the supporting cast around him.

Dallas used the resultant cap space, in conjunction with Chandler Parsons' agent Dan Fegan, to create a lucrative three-year offer sheet to the restricted free agent that the Rockets ultimately decided they couldn't match.

The Mavericks signed Parsons to a three-year offer sheet worth in excess of $45 million with a player option after Year 2 and a 15-percent trade kicker attached. The Rockets elected to let Parsons join Dallas on Sunday, but only after sources say they promised Chris Bosh that they would have kept Parsons had Bosh elected to sign with Houston.

Yet Nowitzki's sacrifice means that Parsons will essentially be making $7 million more than the Mavericks' face of the franchise this coming season.

Dirk walked away from $63 million from either Houston or LA to play with Chandler Parsons.

Clutchfans jokes about his ability to seduce...

Parsons will become the lead singer of the Mavs squad with a new mix of this one:
