    Ok, here's what we do:

IF the Rockets are forced to sign Parsons and miss out on Bosh/other free agents this summer because of him signing this deal with Cuban... then we do the following.

We wait until the first week we are eligible to trade him and then we send him to somewhere like Utah or Milwaukee or Philadelphia.

    Enjoy that money you d-bag!

Gosh man, I wish Chandler had a steel folding chair an used it on Cuban just after signing his contract.

So what happens if Bosh comes and then we match the offer sheet. Are we basically stuck without any space for further improvements?

Then you take that risk. If the Rockets had exercised that 4th year option and brought in a quality free agent or two and then(God willing) made it farther into the postseason next year, would Parsons seriously walk away just out of spite or bitterness? Sure he'd leave if the Rockets didn't want to pay him as much as some other team, but if the money was right and this was a winning situation, he could've easily been back in 2015-16 and beyond.

Instead they're stuck either way overpaying him now which will destroy their cap flexibility or letting him leave for nothing to a division rival which severely weakens their roster heading into next year. I get that Morey took a calculated risk, but it was an unnecessary one that blew up in his face and could set this franchise back a very long time once you factor in the chain reaction of events it may set off.

I would imagine we'd have to fill out the roster with minimum contracts.

No big deal. Just re-sign him in exactly 72 hours once Bosh, or whatever free agent is in the fold.

Leonard is making 1st round pick money and Parsons has been a starter since day one making peanuts. Big difference.

We'd be maxed out capwise and in luxury tax range. Other than draft picks and maybe the MLE or some other exception, that would be the lineup we'd have for the foreseeable future.

Wouldn't mind watching @KingJames playing next to @ChandlerParsons @DwightHoward & @JHarden13 , all they gotta do is trade Asik & Lin.

Tweet from Chandler's friend from June hah.
