Why? The Mavs probably told him the offer was contingent on him signing immediately. That or he's smart enough that when someone offers you $46 mil you don't wait.

No doubt, can't be mad at Chandler for wanting his money. Morey probably figured he could get him slightly cheaper and this completely backfired on him. Honestly, if Morey would actually instill confidence into his team and not talk of them like objects, maybe there would be a little more loyalty. I like Morey, but I really hate the way he talks about his players.

Parsons doesn't know how long that offer is going to be there. He's not going to sit around and wait to find out what happens in Miami.

What is this based on? He has grown his brand from nothing in Houston. We can pay him more than anyone in UFA. You are just pulling all of this out of your arse.

If I am Parsons and I am in the market and I know there are other SFs in the market as well, I sign ASAP.

Or else that paper will have someone else's name on it.

You ever seen Mark operate on Sharktank and there is something the guy wants? He's hardline.

Parson just looking out for himself. He had to do that because the Rox weren't throwing that his way.

No complaints in either of their direction.

    Morey on the clock.

Can someone help me understand the part of the story about CP and Morey negotiating all day? What is there to negotiate? I assumed it was Fegan's job to get the best possible deal for his client and then before the window closes, Morey either matches or lets him walk. What were they negotiating today?

Just trying to figure out if that is indicative of our ability / desire to resign him

Lol at all of Parsons talk last year about being pissed off watching the finals because he should be holding up the trophy.

Does he think he's gonna win in Dallas?? He should've helped us out on this. Could've been a championship.

I remember somewhere on Morey's twitter that he said Parsons will be back about one week ago, so Parsons will be back.

Rockets only have 3 days to match. If LeBron drags out his decision passed that, it's a wrap.

Might not be a bad thing though, I'd rather have Deng

    That, plus his defense

LOL, get that Montrose Lover outta here

No disrespect, but to not think Harden's defensive effort equals selfishness is dumb.

Just like NY said that they would match any offer on Lin.

Dallas got farther in the playoffs this past season than we did. And if we lose Parsons to them, rest assured they will get farther than us next season as well. Will they win a title with their current lineup? No. But Parsons will get to play deeper into the postseason. Especially with Carlisle as his coach instead of McHale.

The Knicks said they would match any offer on Lin as well.

I am not saying that the Rockets wont match it. I do not know what they plan to do. All I am saying is that words are cheap and not be believed when it comes to $$$$$$$$.
