Wrong. Chandler is leaving cause he knows Jeremy Lin is being traded. He wants to go hook up with the Israeli dude that plays with the Mavericks.

I remember Ray Allen left for less money. Even worse.

Extreme booin'. I like Parsons, I mean if he signed the same deal with the Hornets I'd probably still clap when he was introduced, but the MAVS? Blech.

Still don't blame him for signing the offer sheet tho.

Chandler absolutely would leave in 2015 if his option were picked up. It's extremely clear that he doesn't want to be in Houston where he's unable to grow his brand; he signed this contract at the worst possible time for the Rockets because he doesn't want Houston to match. I'm confident that Fegan has been in his ear the entire year about how he was taken advantage of on his first contract, and if a 3rd star is brought in, how precipitously his numbers would drop.

All you have to do is look at how Marc Gasol handled his restricted free agency; he got his maximum offer sheet and took it back to the Grizzlies, who ended up re-signing him without actually matching. Wouldn't have been hard for Parsons to shop for an offer sheet, bring it back and have the Rockets price-match, considering how they have Dwight's free agency to deal with in a year, and need to play ball with Fegan.

CHANDLER PARSONS DOES NOT WANT TO BE BACK NEXT YEAR! Now the real question is, do you let him go on the chance of Bosh; because you have to think that the Decision II is going to stretch past the weekend...

Funny how a cool "glue" guy is now a complete b**** and ******* because he signed a lucrative contract with another team.

Said ******* will again be a cool "glue" guy if the contract is matched and he is contractually bound to return.

Players, GMs, and coaches never get as emotional as fans.

True, the starting four, not including Harden whose DRPM is -2.84 (74th among the 87 SGs in the league), are good defenders but the backups in your lineup are not. Covington's DRPM is barely decent at +0.11 (36th among the 78 SFs in the league), Troy Daniels DRPM is bad, -1.51 (54th among the 87 SGs in the league), Terrence Jones' DRPM is bad, -1.91 (81st among the 87 PFs in the league), and Isaiah Canaan DRPM is bad, -3.06 (70th among the 84 PGs in the league). Sure they can score but won't be able to prevent opposing players from doing so. While Bosh's minutes can be staggered to back up Howard effectively (both Bosh and Howard are excellent defenders), we would still be vulnerable at the other position. If we want to get better, we need good defenders on the bench as well. Based on what we saw in the playoffs, that seems to be a big part of the championship winning formula.

BTW, it is absolutely idiotic to blame Parsons for signing that contract.

Anyone would and should do the same if in his shoes especially if they have made pennies by NBA standards so far.

If given an opportunity, you can bet that Rockets would low ball him. And you cant blame them for that either. They would just be doing their job.

By signing that contract, Parsons is telling the Rockets that this is what my market value is (since someone is willing to pay me this amount) so if you want me, you need to match it. If Parsons asks the Rockets not to match it or he says that he prefers to play with the Mavs, then he warrants hate directed towards him.

what if signing right away was part of the deal? As in, take it or leave it, because Dallas was preparing to make an offer to Deng.
