I take it you don't have Comcast?
Must not have caught many games last season.

Not sure why people are so surprised/angry. Parsons was always about getting his big contract.

The opportunity is near zero to get Ariza here, I believe, unless Morey will overpay him a lot more than any other team.

Yeap. That's why you sign with Fegan, to get the money.

I don't think he can unless he is willing to compromise cap space needed for Bosh.

I don't think anyone is surprised that Parsons got a big payday. And I don't think anyone is surprised that Cuban is doing everything he can to mess with the Rockets.....(stupid Cuban)

But I am surprised by the amount of his big contract. Higher than I ever would have guessed.

This article says Parsons indicated a preference for playing for the Mavs than playing for the Rockets.

    http://www.onlygators.com/07/09/201...ndler-parsons-to-sign-46-million-offer-sheet/

Don't know how trust-worthy this is, so taken with a grain of salt.

But do you think there are legitimate reasons to prefer Dallas to Houston?

Parsons like McHale. Maybe he likes Carlisle more?

Does he not like the front office/owner?

Does he not like Morey treating players like assets and continuing to chase outside stars while blowing up the roster even now? Maybe he got annoyed with the Melo #7 poster (seems unlikely but who knows if NBA players just don't think it is kosher)?

Does he not like playing with certain of the teammates?

Parsons gives up a wide open 3 to Lillard to end our playoff hopes and then signs with the Rockets long-time archenemies who only signed him to spite us. Later Parsons.

I hope Chandler loses his hair and has explosive diarrhea the day he plays his first game as a mav.

Its higher by about 3 mil/yr. Factor in that he was being GROSSLY underpaid his first 3 yrs....not that bad tbh. It obviously hinders our ability to get another star, but you do it.

Not the first time a free agent has spouted BS to the media. Not even the first time this offseason.

I'd hate to say this, but maybe because mavs is an overall better team? Like spurs is a better team, mavs took spurs to 7 games after all
