I'm sorry. I just can't see the justification in Parsons making more money than JAMES HARDEN next year. Thanks for getting Dwight to Houston though.

When it comes down to it, none of these free agents matter, no matter how big their names are. Spurs will kick their booty

I hope Bosh signs with the Rockets. Then, Morey can laugh at Cuban for signing Parsons (Hah! You can have him. We got our 3rd star!).

Don't get me wrong. I would love for Parsons to stay, but that contract is ridiculous. Seems like Cuban just like to screw with the Rockets and doesn't care about the money he's spending.

Do you guys see it being akward now if Parsons does come back? Especially now if the extra 1.1 million they now can't give Bosh in his ,now less than max, offer ends up being a difference maker that forces them to walk away? Maybe Parsons actually doesn't want Houston to match, and really is wanting to leave and Morey knows that? Hows this going to be if these things are the case and they do come back?

He has to look Morey & his teammates in their eyes and say sorry about Bosh.. its all business.

I get that Cuban probably told him its now or never (even though that's BS bluffing) but Parsons is a smart guy and knows what is going on. The truth is him and Fegen could have worked harder with Morey to make this right and make the team better.

The sh#$y thing about this is Fegen (the douche bag SOB) hurt his own client's (Dwight mostly) chance at winning a championship by hurting the team today by making life really hard to acquire another player. If I was Dwight right now, Id have a serious conversation with him about where his priorities really lie... gorging Les Alexander needlessly, helping out your buddy Mark Cuban, making enemies in the Houston organization, or actually helping his clients both get paid and win championships... regardless today (IMO) was completely unnecessary.

Helping the Rockets, and getting his clients paid at the same is completely feasible. The sad part about this is Dwight & Parsons are allowing their doucebag money grabbing agent to screw up a good thing with the Houston front office and hurting their chances at truly competing for a title by making it harder to upgrade the roster talent around them.

Chandler won't take up 75% of that. You can sign other guys with your cap space and then match Parsons and exceed the cap. That's how we plan on getting Bosh. So instead of using the $20MM on Bosh you use some or all of that on other players and then you match Parsons.

No. Sign and trade would be a different contract. Can't sign and trade if Parsons signs Mavs' contract. At that point, it's either match or don't.

If the Rockets DO match, and use the entire 3 days, the Mavericks are in a tough situation because it is very possible players like Deng will already be signed.

Essentially Morey and Cuban are playing a high stakes game of poker. Make no mistake Cuban actually wants Parsons. The structure of the contracts is such that it is hard for Morey to swallow especially IF Bosh signs.

The good news is that Cuban obviously thinks Bosh is coming to Houston.

Why are you getting mad at CP and his agent? Its their job to get the most just like it's the rockets job to try to get said player for the least. When it comes to trading players or whatnot: "the NBA is a business..." ,you can't have it both ways.

Chandler was not the "Key" to a championship formula. Money calls, money talks

No but it seems from the media Woj reports that Bosh is either Lebron/Miami or Houston. I just can't seem him wanting to stay on a rebuilding team. He may like the city but I don't see any real loyalty there for any reason.

I guess I am being overly optimistic but it comes down to Lebron; as long as he announces his decision before our Parsons deadline I have full faith the Morey will execute the Asik and Lin trades and do a sign and trade of DMo, Cannan and parts to the Heat for Bosh. I do think either the Heat or the Lin receiving team may pressure Morey for the NOP pick since he's under the gun.

Have some faith folks Houston is still a prime destination for a third star and Lebron does appear to be headed to Cleveland. For all we know Morey told Parsons to go ahead and sign the deal and Bosh is on his way back from Sri Lanka before the weekend.

Time to match for parsons and cancel the offer sheet to Bosh. I believe there should be at least a deadline for bosh to sign?
