One of them will come and say "rox waiting on bosh to make decision, but if it comes down to the last minute they will match."
Probably let him go. Only way Rockets sign Parsons is if Bosh signs because the cap space won't matter. If it's too late and Bosh signs after Parsons goes to Mavs, then oh well. If Bosh stays in Miami and the Rockets let Bosh go, then they will have room to sign somebody to replace Parsons.
if there is no decision from bosh by day 3, i would match parsons. you could always attempt to trade him in a package for love or rondo. however, not matching and missing on bosh would mean we got worse from last year.
I only wanted Bosh at the max if we could keep Parsons. Now I want to save the money and pray for 2015 free agency.

[rQUOTEr]LeBron James met with Miami Heat officials for more than an hour Wednesday afternoon in Las Vegas but emerged without a decision about his future, sources told ESPN.com. James didn't plan to announce a free-agent decision Wednesday night and had not met with his other primary option, the Cleveland Cavaliers, sources said. If James does choose to leave the Heat, free agent Chris Bosh will sign with the Houston Rockets, sources said. James not rushing to make a choice could put a time squeeze on Bosh. Though he hopes to remain with the Heat along with James, sources said, Bosh has secured a backup offer for four years and $88 million from the Rockets. The Rockets' position, however, got more complicated on Wednesday when their restricted free agent Chandler Parsons agreed to a three-year offer from the Mavericks for more than $45 million, sources said. Once Parsons signs the offer sheet, which could be as early as Thursday, the Rockets will only have three days to match. If the Rockets match, they will lose the requisite cap space needed to sign Bosh. They can match the offer and still afford Bosh, but only if they sign Bosh first. To make room for Bosh, the Rockets will need to execute at least two trades, likely involving Omer Asik and Jeremy Lin, to clear cap space. The Heat were represented at the meeting by president Pat Riley and general manager Andy Elisburg. James was joined by his agent, Rich Paul. This was the first known face-to-face meeting James has held since officially becoming a free agent on July 1. James spent the morning and the evening working out and speaking to high school and college stars at his LeBron James Skills Academy basketball camp. The Heat planned to talk to James about their latest free-agent commitments, forwards Josh McRoberts and Danny Granger, in addition to going over roster possibilities with him. Currently, the Heat have only four players expected to be under guaranteed contract for next season on their roster. http://espn.go.com/nba/truehoop/mia...iami-heat-made-decision-yet-according-sources[/rQUOTEr]
Clarification, are you letting him go with the presumption that youre getting Bosh? Cause if so thats a hell of a gamble. You match the offer, and go to plan d which be to trade for an Ilyasova or 2nd tier stretch 4.
This is the tightest of ropes, seriously. The Rockets have 72 hours to agree to terms with Bosh, sell Miami on a S&T, agree to a Lin trade with the Sixers, wait for New Orleans to clear cap space (or send Rivers to Miami/Philly), complete a complicated four team S&T deal, renounce Casspi/Powell/etc., then match Parsons. It would be much easier to get Bosh to agree to a haircut, but I'm not sure Morey would even broach the subject. Morey, Hinkie and Riley are involved so it makes sense that it will be complicated and bend the CBA as far as humanly possible.

I'm guessing that Daryl Morey will try to get Miami to agree to a sign and trade (after Lebron announces he is leaving Miami), if that fails I'm guessing Chandler Parsons will be allowed to go to the Mavericks.
