So is bosh says no, we miss on lebron, Carmelo, Lowry, Love, AND we need a back up plan (deng) in case parsons is gone? WTF!?
Before Lebron meeting with Heat/Riley..... Cavs clear cap, show interest/pursue Mike Miller, Ray Allen and now Kevin Love. They are SHOWING LBJ what they could/can do.
[rquoter]NBA Salary Cap for 2014-15 season jumps to $63.065 million ... tax level is $76.829 million ... minimum team salary is $56.759 million Non-taxpayer mid-level is $5.305 million, taxpayer mid-level is $3.278 million and mid-level fo team w/ room under Salary Cap is $2.732 mil[/rquoter]
Nah. It is done. They don't pay such a price to dump Jack unless they have a commitment first. James is just breaking up with Riley now. Cavs have lined up their next moves, Lebron is theirs.
Bosh can get max money with Rockets and contend....those other 3 teams aren't gonna be better than Rockets.
I am fine with this if Bosh ends up in Houston. It keeps James in the East and it keeps Love out of GS. The Rockets do a S&T for Bosh, keep their MLE and LLE.... resign Chandler Parsons.... C -Howard PF-Bosh SF-Parsons SG-Harden PG-Beverley I will take that lineup... unlike the lineup last year, the Rockets team is a actually BETTER than their individual parts. The Rockets will have 3 elite defenders in their starting line up.
The only one of that 5 that plays any D is LeBron...other than him, opponents would score at will on them because LBJ can't defend them all at once.
That team would be your Eastern Conference champions for the next 3 seasons at least. They might not look scary since we're in the West, but it's a legitimately good team that has youth, and room to grow.
Uncertain of how much they'll give up in trades, but don't forget they have Waiters (#4), Thompson (#2), and Bennett (#1) in the wings as prospects still with potential.
I agree with you.... only saying other teams would offer him the max. The fact is, he is still a very elite player. His true shooting % was an insane 59% last year.
Saw it mentioned earlier, and I don't think there's even a chance that Bosh stays in Miami, should LeBron leave. For starters, if he's that dedicated, there was no need to initiate contact with Houston to begin with. He obviously views being on a contending team ahead of simply "Miami", hence his dialogue with us in the first place. Second and perhaps more importantly, in the scenario that LeBron leaves, it makes no sense for Riley and the Heat to re-sign Bosh. If Wade/Bosh/LeBron -- the latter being the best player on the planet -- isn't enough to win a ring, then Wade/Bosh/random third star or two decent players doesn't have a prayer. The route for the Heat would be the Lakers, post-Dwight: let Wade have his legacy years/contract (like Kobe) and prioritize high draft picks/financial flexibility. The Heat locking into Wade, Both and other high-priced FAs, without LeBron, is a second-round mediocrity treadmill model. Riley and Spo are too savvy to do that.
