That would be incredible, but highly doubtful. NBA ownership is a Good Ol' Boys Club, and I really don't think Rich Paul would allow his client to throw one of the members of that fraternity under the bus. No matter what, at the end of the day, Gilbert still signs paychecks, and ostracizing him would be a massive misplay on LeBron's part.

LeBron can do this in a more subtle way-- like instead of publicly announcing this, have some anonymous source from "his camp" leak it out to Woj or Stephen A. Smith or Sam Amick. And maybe the message wouldn't be "LeBron just won't play for Gilbert" but just that "LeBron still feels hurt over Dan's letter and this causes him to struggle with the decision to return even though he loves Cleveland and its fans." And then when he's asked, he can deny ever actually saying it without commenting on the existence of the actual sentiment. Meanwhile, Rich Paul can wash his hand of the whole mess and say "I can't be responsible for every journalist quoting anonymous sources. I don't even know who the source is."
Here's what's gonna happen. Lebron takes high road and doesn't embarrass Gilbert publicly but Gilbert give him the keys for real this time and Gilbert also donates a considerable amount of money to a Charity of Lebron's choosing unrelated to him.
'Sap is not on the market guys. The Hawks have no reason to be interested in dealing him and now that the Rockets don't have Asik as a trade piece it's especially a pipe dream. This is not a viable alternative to acquiring Bosh.
why not? I'd expect the Hawks to have interest in dealing him. He's a free agent next year and they can lose him for nothing. They are not contenders this year. T.Jones wouldn't be an attractive young player for them to build around? or any of our other assets, including picks?
