So what's the ETA on when Gordon will be on Durant's level?

Weird, especially coming from a team that was rumored not give Irving the max.

Guess his "max deal" w/Cavs is gone until the LeBron situation is resolved.

Hayward isn't going to get more than 10 million. Teams aren't as stupid as they used to be.

CJ Miles just got $18M from Indiana. Even Ben Gordon got $4.5M per year.

BWAHAHA, i'm going to hold you to this statement! After all the evidence to the contrary, you guys wont realize the truth.

Hayward is gonna get paid, whether he deserves it or not!

Wow, looks now play a role in contracts? You guys know he has a twin sister, right? If you bang her, does that make you gay?

But seriously, Parsons biggest flaws are his FT% which I don't understand and his lack of attacking the basket. Although he is a good defender, please stop pretending he's a Scottie Pippen type. He's slightly above average at best. He's just...tall. I think they're about equal.

Gordon Hayward in 6 months is going to make Chase Budinger & Kevin Martin look like steals.

But why him? They can pay the $4.5M to another guy, or use salary flexibility to eat a contract for an asset. They can even just not waive Jameer Nelson.

Personally I think Gordon is a little better than Chandler.

Parsons is a more consistent outside shooter and better in offensive transition but IMO Gordon H. is better in most other areas.

I'm just curious, when do you think Gordon will actually start playing better than Chandler? Up to this point, Chandler has really been significantly better than Gordon.

Cavs need to overpay for the Jazz not to match. It doesn't have to be 4 years for $64 million. I think 4 years $55 would be fair for both sides. Either way, he's definitely getting more than $11 million per. No question about it.

One thing to remember is, and this I think many people overlook.

Hayward played for the Jazz. The jazz are one of the bottom 5 teams in the league.

I find it amazing how people are quick to discredit Isaiah Thomas, Even Turner, Carter-Williams, Jodie Meeks, Nick Young for having super inflated stats on bad teams, but never mention Hayward.

Not only are Haywards points inflated, but his fg%'s are also awful. 41% and 30% from beyond the arc shooting on 16 undoubtedly inflated points with mediocre defense is going to land him a max contract? Why? Are his 5 assist and 3 turnovers a game earning him a max deal? Is his 5 rebounds so impressive when the Jazz's top rebounder isn't even pulling down 9?

Sorry, I like Hayward, but the dude IMO is not worth a penny over 10 million.

Since Hayward and Parsons are almost carbon copies, what does this mean for us? If a team overypays for Hayward, will we also overpay for Parsons? Or will Parsons sign for less to stay with us? Interesting to see how this all plays out.

This stuff scares the crud out of me. I worry that Parsons will get a similar offer.
