If the Rockets could somehow get Bosh and Rondo then you are looking at the best team in the West.

 

What I read from some dude who claims to be in the know on Reddit (probably a troll) is that Jones + NOP Pick to Boston + Lin / Picks to Philly for Rondo in a 3 way deal, IF we miss out on Bosh I believe. I'd imagine we would also send DMO to Philly and maybe get Young in return.

I think the consolation prize for whiffing in FA is either Thaddeus/Ryan Anderson/Ersan and Rondo while retaining Parsons.

 

Rondo and Anderson would make for a very good starting 5.

Young and Rondo while retaining Parsons is absolutely solid. I wouldn't think Jones and NOP pick is enough though. Everything I've read is Ainge wants to trade star for star which won't happen.

Anyway, I'm discussing this season's Rondo, I made that clear, this is the one that is most similar to the one that exists today.

You claimed that last year's Rondo was better than anyboyd the Rockets put out there - this is incorrect, for reasons stated - last year's Rondo was either nonexistent for the most part, or not particularly impressive when he was playing.
