So who is our priority? Melo or Bosh? I think Bosh is the better fit, but what if Melo suddenly picks us?
Doubt there is any; I assume that's just a standard business visit. The "it's gonna BE a cold winter" part was what made me wonder.
He also posted a pic/headline of LeBron when he opted out - and said "Don't ask I don't know. I can give you my opinion but that's all it is. My thoughts on where I would like to see him play." So it doesn't sound like someone who'd troll.
Yet another little datapoint... Washington Post has an article on LBJ in the politics section suggesting his much-anticipated return could screw up the Republican National Convention because Cleveland could be going late into the playoffs or Finals, thus keeping the GOP out of the arena. http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs...ba0d4c2a-86a2-11e2-9d71-f0feafdd1394&hpid=z12
Also, if they're close, "...where I'd like to see him play" isn't something that you'd think he'd say if it was pretty much understood they were coming back.
this confirms my sources that lebron might be joining al quuida? al queta? Alchaeta? al quidda? or however you spell that! (my best bush accent)
does anyone think bosh stays in Miami even if lebron leaves because he loves it in Miami and they could still have a playoff team in the east with just wade and bosh. I dont know but I can see this happening.
I know Wade has bad knees, but I think going to the Suns(which has the best medical staff in the NBA) would be the best thing for him to do. It rejuvenated Shaqs career! Remember when we all thought he was done?

Ok so what are the Vegas odds looking like? Those guys are typically pretty plugged in right? Gettin mighty desperate around here....
Rockets need to improve starting 5 without sacrificing bench quality. What is the cap impact of S&T for Josh Smith and signing a very good player (but not max guy) like Lance Stephenson? Or if the Rockets want to go the S&T route, then why not for Love and Brewer?? I want Bosh but not at the cost of a worse team than last season. And a team is more than just a starting 5. Especially if any one of these highly paid starters go down.
These are the exact kind of stories that seem to be piling up. Individually, I wouldn't put any weight in what a cupcake store in Cleveland said, or a random personal trainer thinks, or what a betting shark thinks, or that the Cavs took down Gilbert's letter off of their website, or what sort of cryptic caption Lebron's friend might post. Or even that Woj reported that Lebron's agent might be pushing him to go back there. But as more and more of these things add up, they are becoming harder to ignore. And it makes it seem like there really is a legitimate chance that Lebron might go back to Cleveland. I might be wrong, but I haven't seen any random people in Miami talking about how they know Lebron is going to stay. I haven't heard of any random Miami fans who claim they know a friend of a friend of a friend of a friend of Lebron who knows that Lebron is returning. There aren't any stories like that. All of the stories of Lebron going back to Miami are speculation and people in the media trying to say what Lebron should do. I don't know. A week ago I would have been shocked to think of Lebron ever going back to Cleveland. Now it almost seems like it would surprise me the least.
People still want us to get Josh Smith???? Bosh would in no way make our team worse than last season. We would be getting Bosh basically by giving up Asik, Lin and then maybe D-Mo and Canaan. D-Mo and Canaan barely played last year. I think we could find someone to replace a lot of Lin's production. Not having Asik will hurt, but Bosh is so versatile that he will really minimize that loss for us. We could easily for certain stretches of the game go with a small lineup and have Jones/Bosh as our frontcourt. Then look at bringing players in on minimum contracts to fill out our bench (Okafor? Marion? bring back Aaron Brooks?)
Great post photojoe, you're exactly right. All of the little tiny "leak bites" individually are meaningless, but there are so many of them. And they all point in one direction. I think in his meeting with Riley tomorrow he's going to tell him that he's leaving. At this point James not going back would be seen as a second big betrayal and his hard regained reputation would tank back to post Decision levels.
