Btw, Barca officials to negotiate with Fiorentina today. Cuadrado will likely sign and there are rumours about a mutual agreemet.

Cuadrado is good but slightly over-rated. Alexis is the much better player already and the gap will only increase.

If Alexis does go and Cuadrado comes in, Barca have gone from Fabregas and Alexis to Rakitic and Cuadrado. They don't get better, however you add in Suarez and they do.

You do know that if Cuadrado comes he will not be playing RW... If he comes is to replace Dani. Doesn't mean I'm happy with Alexis leaving.

Look we get it, Alexis is good but he doesn't fit. It's a shame but sometimes fit does get in the way. Just like it did with Zlatan. Messi is the main option and he's earned it. I wish Alexis great success but you can't say we'd be better off keeping him and continuing to waste both the club and his time.

We need ****ing CBs. We need them NOW! We can prepare for the eventual departure of our midfield but the departure of our back line started two years ago and has yet to be addressed.

Not sure if this is addressed to me.. but I very well know the necessity of our club. I've been crying for CBs last 3 or 4 years. We will need Pedro or Alexis for rotational purposes. I guess we are selling Alexis because he's more marketable. I simply wish we would keep Alexis and sell Pedro.

Not to you bro but to those people b****ing that we did some kind of wrong to Alexis. We didn't. Though I would say I agree and disagree with your take on Pedrito. Yes he's not as good as Alexis but Alexis won't play like Pedrito and doesn't have the chemistry with Messi like Pedrito. Alexis needs the ball to get a rhythm.

Villa was a good example. He was great next to Messi. As we've learned it take chemistry as much as talent to make the team thrive.

Ugh, don't get me started. And then the whole Sherwood PR fiasco. Hopefully Pochettino lasts over a season.

Unless Barcelona changed the way they play Suarez will probably be unhappy at Barca too. That team is built around Messi and everyone else has to take a back seat.

different position----- if it benefits the team. Sanchez will be missed no doubt. Is Cuadrado already a Barca player?

You do know that if Alexis were to stay, there is little chance of Cuadrado at Barca.

It is not a like for like replacement per se.

If Alexis were to stay the chances of Cuadrado coming would definitely be smaller but not because of the position on the pitch but rather amount of money Barca has allocated for the transfer season (around 120 mill Euros PLUS any amount from outgoing transfers). There's no room for Cuadrado as a RW in Barca, that spot will be occupied by Suarez.

Heyyy so we agree on something! (even though I'm sure most Barca fans feel the way you do about this).
I think there is no other transfer topic that boggles my mind like this topic. Every one and their abuela knows Barca needs some CBs and yet they're looking at more offensive talent.
I swear if I read someplace that Barca are "CONSIDERING" a bid for Hummels or Benatia, etc. I might break my computer. At this point they should be Waayyyy past "considering".

Apparently Alexis to Arsenal is a done deal.

    Any updates on this?

Also, can you give a newbie who the top 5 teams are in the Champions Leagues, e.g. Bayern, Manchester United, Real Madrid, etc.

Nooooooooo! I don't want Pogba on RM. I don't love Di Maria but he just had his best season with them and was an amazing team player. Seems odd for them to move in after that.

Oh well, guess I will treat Pogba like I do Bale. Like the player, dislike the team.

yeah I kind of recall them being associated with the fascist Franco. Never want to have ties with a Franco team.
