    Cyber vs Woj.

Who has more credibility. Don't you think it's possible you just got bad info?

Yep. Also would have been just as hilarious to watch James Worthy and Danny Manning sit around waiting for him to decide on where to go.

So the reports about LeBron not liking Dwight were true as well. :(
Well hopefully Bosh being the beta he is doesn't care about that and picks Houston.

So Carmelo likes money, would rather live in NYC, and wants to keep his wife happy - honestly I can't say I'd not make the same decision.

Live in a place where you do't want to live, have a less happy family life, and have a better, but by no means guaranteed, shot at a championship with Houston or Chicago, and take less money? It's a risk, and if it doesn't pay off you'll probably regret it.

Frankly, championships are overrated. Charles Barkley is a happy man, by outward appearances. MIchael Jordan seems like a miserable son of a b****.

LOL ok. Woj is just lying to repay a favor. They are orchestrating an extensive coverup to hide the fact that Melo really wants to play for the Lakers.

    The end game is...

More of this "diabolical scheming" nonsense. Big time players workout in UCLA all the time. Last year Dwight worked out there with Steph Curry and people went nuts. There is no reason to lie about it. It's not like they can hide the fact that he signs with LA if he actually signs there.

How does Bosh feel about Harden and Howard? I understand his first choice is to return to the Heat though.

Cool - you're forgetting the third cool!

What do the rockets do? Melo is gone, bosh is unlikely and chandler's clock is about to start ticking.

I don't think a 3 team scenario is that much more complicated than the first scenario you laid out. S&T Bosh to Houston without taking back significant salary from Houston, use Bosh's salary as outgoing $ to take in Melo from NY in a trade.

The big issue here as you mentioned is that NY has to willingly participate in a Melo trade. The Houston part of the deal is fairly well lined-up. HOU is already preparing to clear cap space for a straight Bosh signing, and may well prefer getting Bosh via sign and trade.

Now I see reports that Phili may take Amare's contract... I doubt that happens.

I think it's a cover up. They all reported it to be true but came back to recant it. Including the AD. Maybe it was information that wasn't supposed to be leaked and someone powerful got upset and started pulling strings to hide it. Why? Idk and who cares.

To me it makes much more sense that it's a cover up(for god knows why) than it was that amick woj cyber and many others all just received bad info. Woj doesn't leak bad info, he's calculated. But don't think for a second he doesn't owe or do people favors. It's how he has such good sources and is so reliable.

All someone has to do is threaten to stop sharing info and he'll help out as necessary.

Based on this rationale, I saw NYC as the clear favorite from day 1: $, security, no up root the kid, longer summer vacation [than playing on true contender]. Guy's married with kids. Different priorities. It's about them and a trust fund for his legacy.

To save face and it not be about the $, he can now say he 'believes' in PJax's plan...whether or not he does. The ancillaries just make too much sense.

    All eyes on Lebron.

It's complicated because all multi team trades are complicated. You have to line up another party's interests.

Big issue one is that NY is going to want something to help get Melo to Miami. Miami has nothing to offer so where are the assets coming from?

On Houston's side, as has been laid out by multiple people now, it may actually be AGAINST the interest of the Rockets to do a sign and trade because of the hard cap issue. That's not for sure either way, but it's a potential issue. The bigger issue is that why would Houston want to give up assets to pull off this sign and trade for a player they would then be able to sign outright.
