    Melo can chose where he wants to go...I'm fine with that. Big fan of players being able to choose where they want to go when their contracts is up. With that being said...melo don't talk **** about you wanting to win and "reportedly" narrow your choices to NY and Lakers? WTF Even Chicago....Am I on stupid pills when I laugh when they say Chicago being the best option for him t win? Am I just being a homer....How is Melo, Rose (coming of injury) Noah better than Melo, D12 and Harden...plus parson and bev. HOW? Whatever man lol Chicago is out too....I thought he changed and matured with regards to winning. It's still the same song.....Lime light and money. Be happy not making the playoffs next year because it's not happening in NY and SURE AS HELL not happening in LA. You have to win 50 games to crack 8 seed.

    I believe the new season started July 1. Anyone under the cap then didn't get exceptions. But, teams over the cap can still lose their exceptions if they shed enough salary after July 1.

    Miami is over the cap at the moment because of the cap holds on the big 3. They'll start shedding salary if their players sign deals elsewhere. But, if they dip low enough to lose their MLE, they'll have at least as much in cap space, so it doesn't really matter where it comes to any MLE-money offers they've made to free agents. McRoberts could get a contract with MLE or with cap space.

    Good..he'll suffer 5 long years of mediocrity and reputation as a selfish player while he tries to carry a terrible roster on his back. Yup, it's all about winning, so I think I won't go play with the best center and SG in the league. Makes A lot of sense.
