This is exactly what teams like the Trailblazers want to here

It wouldn't really take another star, just someone who could do a good job running the team.

It's making us look aggressive. Players usually want to play for teams that are willing to make moves. I hope all the leaks are true because this team is an upgrade at the 1 or 4 away from being a very serious contender.

I don't like Rondo on this team at all. He's not great on offense and can't shoot. He had a serious knee injury and looked like crap last year.

He's a defensive player who does not look the same on defense.

What is Rondo if he can't play good defense?

Lucky that Sam Prestie was too dumb or the OKC ownership was too cheap to take the GSW trade. And of course it had more to do with Morey being lucky than good because a good GM wouldn't bring in McHale as a head coach.

And I'm sure people are very fund of you;)

What he was last year. A net negative who doesn't deserve the money he's making, nor the assets it would take to get him. That he's a poor fit for this team as well as everything else should end the conversation.

Even if all that is true, Rondo has not looked good since coming back from injury. How confident can you really be that he'll return to form?

More like it made the Rockets/Morey seem desperate. There are like 10+ news that 'The Rockets are interested in player XXXX". But how many of them mentioned "The Players are interested in the Rockets"?

He absolutely is good enough IMO. He would make Harden's life so much easier. He'd be great on this team.

Rondo isn't a guy who will carry a team by himself to the playoffs, but he is an excellent complimentary player when you put him with stars (Howard/Harden).

It's a risk, ofcourse. But at the same time, it's a cheaper risk than throwin a max contract at a player who doesn't deserve it. Plus he won't have as much wear & tear with him and Harden splitting ball handling duties. If we get Rondo we can still afford to keep guys like T.Jones & Daniels and still be a contender

I agree with you here. And it's not just Harden but it's Parsons as well. Both of those guys take on point guard duties far too much.

I wouldn't mind getting Rondo and Kelly from Boston which would mean moving on from Parsons. But I like Bledsoe as well. Rondo isn't the only point guard out there that could help the Rockets.

Funny thing about the ball dominant guard stuff is when Lebron first teamed up with Wade people said it wouldn't work because they both needed the ball to be effective.

Now, Lebron does most of the ball handling and now he needs someone else to share ball handling with to alleviate some of that burden.

    People just say anything.

LOLOL i don't get some people rationale. He's a ball dominate point that is an ELITE PLAYMAKER PASSER. He is more than right for a team that has no clue what to do with the ball at times. You have to beg Rondo to shoot lol

Adding Rondo to this team (especially if we keep Patrick) immediately makes us a very good team and an elite backcourt. Add in Bosh and this team is an elite team. Get Rondo and Bosh and re-sign Parson and call this a great offseason.

LOL, get Rondo, Bosh and resign Parsons! Is that even remotely possible?

Question - have any of the "REAL" offenses that Rondo has quarterbacked ever been ranked higher than 4th in the league like the Rockets' fake offense from last year?
