But in Miami with wade its actually not the best chance to win. The best situation for LeBron financially and competitively is the go back to Cleveland and the perfect fit for Bosh is here in Houston

    Well said.

Neither McRoberts or Granger fill their biggest needs. Neither one is a significant upgrade from what they had last year.

After today's moves, I would consider the Heat to be in the exact same situation that they were in last year- maybe even a little bit worse if Wade continues his slow but steady decline.

But a conversation with James about his future in Miami this past weekend created enough doubt for Bosh to begin considering his other options, including Houston's offer, a source said. The source said Bosh did not know whether James was staying in Miami.

Another factor in Bosh's decision to look at Houston has been the tenor of his negotiations with Miami. Bosh is willing to take an annual pay cut by accepting a five-year deal worth $80-90 million from Miami. But sources say the Heat have been trying to get Bosh to accept a lesser deal

Bosh and Wade were so uncertain about James' future after last week's meeting that one of them spoke about what the Heat might look like without James, according to one source.

Wade and Bosh are still reluctant to take severe cuts in their contracts, sources told Yahoo Sports, creating a financial disconnect among the three.

"There's clearly a breakdown in communication between LeBron and [Wade and Bosh]," one executive who participated in the meetings over the past two days told Yahoo Sports.

The "Heat must know something behind the scenes" logic is exactly what people used two weeks ago when Wade and Bosh opted out and everyone immediately assumed LeBron's return was a July 1 formality.

I can't remember where, but it was in one of these threads.

Some people indicated that one of Bosh's fears was signing with the Heat long term with a paycut with the possibility of being left high and dry if Lebron takes a shorter deal.

I bet he does. Doesn't seem like a smart man. If they tell him to do it, he will

Why is everyone always comparing signing players to asking girls out?? This is a god damned business! We don't care if we're not the #1 option if in the end both parties benefit from the deal

    Me too.

    I would take Harden/Howard/Bosh over Durant/Westbrook/Ibaka.

Even though Durant is the best player out of those three, I would take any of the potential Houston Big 3 over Westbrook or Ibaka.

Yea I remember seeing that somewhere too. Where does Bosh draw the line of just looking so sad? I thought Lebron was smarter than this all along, but I'm starting to thing the writing is on the wall for Bosh. They don't want him back and would rather Melo. So crazy...and Melo still hasn't committed...he is waiting on Lebron for sure.

The Heat needed to add a real big man and a solid option at the point for this off season to be a success. Adding an injured Granger and a finess power forward in McRoberts solves none of their needs. They might have just gotten worst.

With the McRoberts and Granger signings they would now the cap space to sign Melo LeBron and Wade to the contracts they would want. And don't think you can skimp on Wade, he opted out as a favor.

Guys I want the big three to break up as well but all we have is Lebrons agent is pressuring him to Cleveland. Everything else is Lebron wants Miami and Bosh would follow LBJ to Russia if he said to.

Damn I'm hope I'm wrong but as a Houston sports fan I'm used to disappointment .

I don't see how those people have been proven wrong yet. It's in all these players' best interest to drag this out as long as they can - it gives them free publicity, does nothing to hurt them and it potentially hurts competitors.
