King Drew told us that Melo would announce yesterday so there's your update from him. Cyber is pimping the super team up in LA so there's your update from him. Who knows what Codman is hinting at right now. I'm pretty sure he also hinted at a decision from Melo over the weekend.
I agree they need roster improvements. Just I don't think they need dramatic changes like many people here are arguing.
It actually makes sense. the only thing holding bosh back im sure is being hated/talked about negatively for bailing out on miami when they're trying to keep the team together.
I know Cyber said Lowry was plan D and Bosh was plan C, but the Rockets offered Lowry a contract right at the start of free agency. If he had accepted, their pursuit of Lebron or Melo would have been DOA without complicated S&T scenarios. I think it's unlikely he was Plan D. As for Bosh as plan "C", Woj reported he would have been our preferred target if we had ever believed he was available.
If we don't get bosh we're pretty ****ed. We will have to match Chandler which will essentially take up our cap room. Our last hope is S&T for Love, and Morey WILL have to offer Chandler to get him.
All these stars so indecisive. All that talk about Dwight not knowing what he wanted and he was committed by the 5th of July. Here is the 7th and we hear reports about Melo really struggling with his decision, Lebron upholding the market, Bosh pondering whether he wants out, etc, etc. The only decisive player here was Lowry, everyone else looks like they can't decide anything.
If they miss out on any noteworthy players and then have to give all the cap room to Parsons... What a huge misplay by Morey.
