Wade was just fine until the Finals.

People are overselling the demise of the Heat.

The Spurs whipped them in part because they got really lucky/hot with their shot in addition to the Heat roster problems.

Cavs should put out a statement. "Yo, Lebron, we didn't sign anyone ****ty and we can trade for Love. Just sayin', brah."

He is gonna get the max from any other team not named the Heat...(of course of Lebron leaves, that figure will decrease dramatically...) If Bosh wants the salary and chance to play competitive bball, Houston should be very attractive. Waiting to see what Lebron does is really gonna screw his earning potential...

Bosh didn't lose a step last year.

The down fall of the Heat is being over blown.

If he wanted to let Bosh go he would just do that. No need to engage him in contract talks, just renounce your rights to him and be done with it. That he is signing players to contracts that match the MLE and the BAE means he HOPES the Big 3 are staying together.

It doesn't mean they will, but if he was letting Bosh go by choice he could do a lot more with the roster before Lebron's meeting.

    Probably true.

I think Bron is more of a breh guy, not a brah. They should definitely address him as a breh if they want him to sign.

Cleveland would have a huge advantage in order to nab Love if Lebron is in tow...they lose Wiggins plus picks though...

Since you and I have built a pseudo rapport the past few weeks I'd like to reply to this with a :eek:attached with some respect.

The Heat's roster was done against the Spurs even without the first game. Their players were older, couldn't defend, and couldn't hit open buckets (which was probably due to the fact that they didn't have young legs anymore).

Miami needs to retool with younger players. LeBron can still carry a truckload but he can't have his teammates firing blanks when he's not on his A game.

Riley is doing everything he can to keep LeBron. If Wade or Bosh decides to leave then that's that but the prize is LeBron. Hell, if there was a team stupid enough to drop $12+ million on Wade and take him off of Riley's hand I'm sure Riley would dunk his head in ice cold water over and over again.

Basically Riley admitted to McRob I can't promise they will be back.

Both him and Granger were overpayed.

    Lebron ain't coming back.

Yeah, they said it. Because I didn't know that until they said it. I just said what they did in other words.

I agree the Heat needed to rework the roster. I'm just saying the idea that they went from a finals team to a first round exit next year is silly. Wade may have run out of gas by the finals along with the other guys, but that doesn't mean first round exit.

Agreed. It's all about Lebron. The pitch to keep Lebron seems to be keeping Bosh as well.

Bosh could just be the odd man out in Miami. They might want to use his money on three players just to be deeper.

    thats a stretch though.

Why and How can LeBron trust the rest of his prime to DWade? LeBron has to play 45-46 minutes a game just so the heat can win. LeBron was just worn out in the finals this year. I dont see how McRoberts and Granger change that, do yall?

If he goes to Cleveland, he has 3 other first round picks, with fresh legs, that need to be taught and that are in need of leadership.

Bosh would get all the money he wants in Houston and get to play power forward. He fits perfectly with Dwight. He also wouldn't get criticized by the national media every time we lose.

Correct me if I'm wrong but Bosh and Riley haven't had direct talks about contracts and numbers. It was all done amongst the Big 3 at their lunch and then Bosh hopped on a plane for vacation.

And yes, of course Riley HOPES the Big 3 can stay together but is he really getting McRoberts and Granger at higher-than-market value? I don't think so considering Charlotte wanted to use MLE-level money on McBob as well. I don't think he's worth anywhere near that but he's not exactly getting Jim McIllvaine money here. He placed his calls for these guys and they happen to agree. Granted I'm thinking these are LeBron's boys but Riley had to do it nonetheless.

At this point I don't care what free agent we sign as long as Jeremy Lin is off the roster by the time FA ends...... #Stephenson2014Campaign

LOL then what exactly are you disagreeing with me about?

All I've said is that Riley's goal is to keep the big 3 together with these guys taking the MLE and the BAE. His pitch to Lebron is here is the team with these guys plus whatever else he gets on the vet minimum.

I've never said they WILL stay together. I've only disputed the idea that Riley is dumping Bosh.

Lebron may dump Riley which leads to a Bosh exit
Bosh may dump Riley which leads to a Bosh exit

But I don't see Riley voluntarily dumping Bosh.

The Heat had one problem only: Dwyane Wade. I understand Lebron is friends with him, but you simply cannot win a championship while a guy with bum knees is eating up 1/3rd of your cap. Screw everyone who refuses to realize this. Hopefully Bosh has the wherewithal to GTFO before that ship sinks. But I won't feel bad for him, or Lebron, i f he doesn't.
