10000% agreed. I said this pages ago and people are still hung up on MLEs and BAEs. That's what the media is attaching to the figures because they work; not necessarily what the Heat are using. As for why Miami would "leak" this out? They didn't leak anything out other than the years and money the contracts are worth. "Operating as a capped team"? Unless Pat Riley publicly says as much, this is just another chess move.
The Granger signing is pure desperation. Over payed!!!! Bosh basically felt vulnerable enough to discuss his future with the Rockets. Something is brewing.
Well, assuming that trading for Love or Rondo isn't really in our control, I'd say that plan D should be to sign Bledsoe away from the Suns. He will be a max player in 2 years. Plan E is to accumulate more assets in the hope of landing Love, Rondo or KD next summer.
To give him a sign of progress. Lebron is meeting Riley in a few days. He needs to give him something.
The Rockets could still do a sign and trade for Bosh that would leave Miami with a very large TE, about 20 million. If Melo decides to not resign with the Knicks, the Heat could use the trade exception and possibly a pick (from the Rockets?) to get Melo to Miami.
Well this situation has officially spiraled beyond my capacity for comprehension. I have no idea what this MLE/BLE/ABC/XYZ crap means for Houston so I will just continue to refresh Clutchfans and Twitter until some real news breaks. Until then, GO ROCKETS!

If Love was a viable option, I suspect the Rockets would have been going hard for him prior to offering Bosh the absolute max they can.
Always been the plan for Riley to sign vets with their exceptions, don't know why people act like this is an indication of one thing or another. Did ya expect Riley to sign no one until the three made their decisions? Was always obvious Riley would sign semi big names in hopes of swaying Bron to stay.
