If Howard carries over and improves on what he did in the playoffs with his post game _ he's going to demand more shot attempts and Harden is going to keep being Harden... Bosh averaged 16 points per game in Miami this past season with Wade only playing in 54 games and not only will he have to eat behind Harden and Howard _ he's going to have to fight for scraps with Parsons... Bosh will pretty much have the same role here that he had in Miami as a stretch 4. I think he'll be somewhere around 15 ppg.

But I don't believe his point production is important. It's him being a championship veteran and he can fill in for Howard if needed and can give more offensive production if needed (like if someone gets hurt, foul trouble, etc).

I'm just not sure he's worth a max contract at his age to the Rockets.

Couldn't it also mean a sign and trade though? As opposed to Bosh vs Melo.

This is my thought as well.... shows the Big 3 ARE coming back. The one caveat is that I don't see how James can be satisfied with Napier and McRoberts as the key additions to the Heat. Honestly, McRoberts isn't a very good player and Napier is an undersized rookie.

He opted out 3 weeks ago and McBob is not a center nor a rim protector.

How the hell does a Josh McRoberts fix the Heat?

So basically I've run through this in my head and I think the answer is no. They wouldn't be able to operate "above the cap" in a sign and trade for Melo. They have no salary to send back so the only way they could do a SnT for Melo would be to renounce Bosh and absorb Melo into the cap space. (makes no sense) But then they'd lose the MLE.

Center. Rim protector. 2 things Miami hasn't valued since Alonzo Mourning played there.

If you can have a three team deal with two players being signed and traded, couldn't a three team deal be done between the rockets, heat, and Knicks? S&t bosh the Houston, melo to Miami, and we both send stuff to the Knicks. Helps both Houston and Miami.

Won't happen though if bosh really is sticking with Lebron.

    Welp...dere goes bosh.

Anthony/Bosh/James all gone basically. Love or Rondo is our only hope now basically.

The more complicated a theory gets the less likely it is to happen.

When they had a white guy with long hair playing for them it was championship parades. They needed a Miller replacement.

Well, I was simply thinking Melo vs Bosh... that operating over the cap means they're choosing Bosh. Couldn't they still workout other scenarios? Bosh to Houston in a sign and trade? A sign and trade for another player. I wasn't following how operating above the cap is surefire indication Bosh has to stay. I didn't mean a sign & trade for Melo directly.

Meh, people's thought on Bosh coming here is gone because of a BimaThug tweet..? Bima is a CAP GENIUS, he's awesome. But everything else is just an opinion. Of course, this is all my opinion as well. :p

Never said it was likely. I basically said the opposite. I was just showing that it was possible.
