If he accepted the Mid level, that means there won't be any extra cash to spend if they re-sign the big 3/Haslem. So you get destroyed in the Finals and your answer is to sign McRoberts and add Napier? Not exactly a power shifting move IMO.
Question? Does Bosh FOLLOW LeBron to his new team???? That would suck and be a slap to the face on us...
[ProBballTalk]Report:Rockets offer max deal to Chris Bosh (pending Jeremy Lin trade) http://probasketballtalk.nbcsports....-jeremy-lin-trade/?ocid=Yahoo&partner=ya5nbcs Sources: Rockets offer Bosh max deal of 4 yrs, $96 million. After weekend convo with LeBron and low offer from Heat, Bosh considering offer
What's most intriguing about the McRoberts thing is that they've said it's a full "Mid Level" deal which means they don't expect to have cap room to sign a player. Means they have verbal commitments on salaries from Big 3?
Personally I think a lineup of: Howard/Bosh Bosh/Jones/D-Mo Parsons/MLE FA Harden/Johnson/Daniels Bev/Cannan or whomever Would be amazing! That definitely is a title contending team.
That would be the ultimate starting 5. Excellent defense, scoring, rebounding, passing, toughness, young but not too young (all 30 or under) with the perfect mix of playoff experience and veteran-ship. that team would have it all.
Well he accepted the amount of the mid-level. If they go the cap room route, he'd sign an identical contract and they may or may not have some more cash to throw around.
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" lang="en"><p>Reported McRoberts deal is BAD sign for Rockets. If MIA uses full MLE, they're likely not going to use cap room. Could indicate Bosh return.</p>— David Weiner (@BimaThug) <a href="https://twitter.com/BimaThug/statuses/486225891052101632">July 7, 2014</a></blockquote> <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
Because he is whipped... He needs to get Lala's approval... He needs to make sure its OK with her... Its not just him negotiating with teams...
Is that also the max any other team can offer Bosh, excluding Miami? I'm guessing Miami wants Bosh to take perhaps a 4 year $65 - 70Mish deal? If I'm Bosh, and the other two offers in front of me are $70ish mil vs roughly $100 mil, i'm taking my 9 figures.
