I hope Bosh signs. (It ain't my money; what do I care?) And: I hope Dwight (and/or Harden) doesn't go, "Wait, more money than I get? AW HELL NAW!"
Wait, I thought Bosh's max topped out at upper 80 million? I thought 96 million was Melo's max because of his salary the previous year?
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" lang="en"><p>Also, I have no idea where ESPN is getting its figures on Bosh's "max" contract. Should be more like 4 yrs, $85.5M.</p>— David Weiner (@BimaThug) <a href="https://twitter.com/BimaThug/statuses/485998541358112769">July 7, 2014</a></blockquote> <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script> he did last night
Whatever the correct dollar figure, let's hope he accepts so we can get this show on the road and let the pieces fall into place.
In a battle of anything related to intelligence between Broussard and a rock, I'd have to think hard about betting against the rock. Between Broussard and BimaThug? My money's on Weiner.
More Bima from last night.... <blockquote class="twitter-tweet" lang="en"><p>Media seem to be using Melo's 4-yr max ($96M) and applying it to Bosh. But Melo made more than Bosh last year, raising his max salary.</p>— David Weiner (@BimaThug) <a href="https://twitter.com/BimaThug/statuses/486004756658143232">July 7, 2014</a></blockquote> <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
Lol the whole incorrect max shows how full of **** espn and Broussard is, if you can't get the damn numbers right how are we supposed to believe it?
I thought in Melo's case his max contract (years and $/year) can be offered by being grandfathered in due to previous CBA. What rule is BimaThug referring to where the max is dictated by previous salary?
