I could see Dallas offer being appealing to Parsons. Of course....If Parsons has a little under the table deal with Morey going on, hopefully he stays faithful...
Everyone should be figured out by Thursday anyways, so the Parsons offer sheet shouldn't be a big deal to match at all.

You know, I like Parsons as a player -- one of my favorite on the team. And I was thinking, that, if he ends up on another team, I wouldn't even be mad at him. After helping the Rockets get Howard and playing as a starter at such a small contract for so long -- I would just be like "thanks for your service, and good luck" -- but if he went to the Mavs...I'd hate him.
The Rockets promise to offer Parsons the same $ as the outside offer, maybe more, after free agent chase plays out, whether or not they land a star, and asks Parsons not to sign an outside offer until then.
Morey will do what's the best for the team. If the price tag is too high, he will let Parsons go, no matter it is Dallas, or any other team.
They partied together last year when All Star Weekend was in Houston. Dude has been planting his seed for awhile now.
i would hate him even if he entertained the mavs...dirk wouldn't even meet with us when he was on the market...show some loyalty Chandler
The time period to match doesn't start till Parsons actually signs, right? So teams can offer but until Parsons agrees and signs, the Rockets don't have to worry about running out of time.
Personally think Parsons already has a wink wink deal with Morey. There really haven't been many rumors attached to Parsons. My guess is Morey told him that if he will commit to "x" dollars/contract, he will make him a RFA.
Mavs kept Dirk from making a back to back run at a title so they could sign a Max player like Deron Williams...no...Lebron...no...Howard....no...Chris Paul...no...Chandler Parsons!!
Shieeeeet... can you imagine if we missed out on all of the free agents and lost Parsons this offseason?
