You realize this is a late, second round draft pick right? The Rockets have one of the best drafting track records over the past 7 years.

What's crazy is how he dunks in traffic..... Usually smaller guys don't attempt those types of dunks in traffic..... And he does them with ease

I'm an Arizona guy and watched Nick closely for the last three years. This quote above is exactly what to expect from Nick Johnson.

So far so good, hopefully he can contribute next year, I like what I see so far though!

Summer league has shown many times in the past that players sometimes aren't what they seem. See: Donte Greene.

But our late first round picks and second round picks have been very successful in the past by either becoming a solid rotational player or by driving their trade value up so we can flip them for a solid rotational player. It's been a case of both of the above a number of times.

I'm hoping for the same of Johnson.

He looks a little slow, in all honesty.

Hmm shows up for me even though I’m not a paid subscriber, but here ya go. Mostly just a little fluff piece from Solomon, who seems to really like this kid:

This is EXACTLY the type of player I've been wanting...a hybrid 1/2...who can defend like a mad man, handle the rock a bit, stick the J from downtown, and finish....great athleticism. I know this is only Summer League, but this kid was the conference player of the year at Arizona and has the bloodlines of his Uncle D.J. and Daddy Joe....and he came out as a Junior! The father has passed on his otherworldly athleticism, and made sure his son is steeped in the fundamentals that HE lacked. It appears Morey has worked his second round magic again. Look for this kid to be in the rotation by the All Star break....on a rookie contract. This is yet another example of why we have the best GM in the NBA.

Not to be negative, because I still love the pick, but I had the same thought as to his foot-speed, especially for the summer-league crowd.

You can't really tell from one short highlight video though.
