LMAO, can people stop wasting bandwidth by posting tweets by people like David Aldridge and Chris Broussard saying they don't know anything yet. It's not like these characters know much until Woj breaks it out.

I dunno, have they? I was under the impression that everyone was working based on the project salary and luxury tax caps. I mean the projects couldn't be too far off, could they?

 

They are obviously basking in all this passive-aggressive attention-whoring about their free agency and enjoying it very much.

I'm not gonna allow myself to be taken for a whirlwind ride just so I know where they are getting their next 100 million from. Thats it from me, I'm out til training camp starts. I hope they will have decided by then.

 

Well since it's 9:30 the Monday after a holiday weekend and they haven't announced yet, it's a good bet that they won't announce until training camp!

yeah, Dwight was actually decent and cared about winning. These folks this year, I get the impression they have already decided but just wanna keep the suspense as long as possible because they couldn't care less if their decision is released early or not

Times are different. Players like Anthony and James and Bosh are $300,000,000 to $1,000,000,000 entities. This isn't the 1980's where a player just sits down over lunch with his agent and makes his decision after 30 minutes. Now entire groups are involved with the decision and family/agents and outside interests (sponsers) all are involved.

Anthony and James do not care if teams are waiting or if the league is waiting, there is just too much at risk.

Also, now, the only information getting out is purposely leaked information by the agents and teams. The days of a hanger-on leaking information are gone. Now everyone involved is a professional and there is too much at risk to leak anything that is not strategically leaked.

For example, this LeBron to Cleveland mess... that is almost certainly a purposeful leak by James' representatives to get Miami to do what he wants.

I think Chicago should attack now and go after wade for a 3 year 15 million deal. Sure he's a bit over the hill but he'd still provide scoring in stretches.

 

Really starting to look like LeBron is really involved in all of this. Taking too long for it not to be the case.
