Yes, I agree. This move would seem very unlikely. BTW - since I am a newbie to this stuff, can you and/or Yung tell me when the first game for Bayern would be?
Everton is a fine club. They finished quite high this past season and will compete in the Europa League this season which is a competition for clubs who finished high within their leagues. It is not as prestigious as the Champion's League but still a trophy worth winning.
Well regarding Navas: I don't think it makes sense sports-wise, either. But Marca is usually money with their inside info and they have been saying this for weeks and got the info from sources really close to Navas and Bayern. To your 2nd question: Before Bundesliga starts, you'll have some friendlies, tournaments and the German Supercup. Their first Bundesliga match starts August 22nd. Here are the dates for all friendlies and Bundesliga: http://www.fcbayerncentral.com/schedule/
Everton is pleasing to watch with Martinez as manager and the likes of Baines, Barkley, Lukaku, and Mirallas on the pitch. They still can't compete with the big money, but they are generally a less frustrating underdog to cheer on as opposed to Spurs or Fulham a couple of years ago.
Juan Bernat officially signed a contract with Bayern , transfer fee is 10mil. Can some of you La Liga fans tell me about your impressions? Never watched him and would like to know a bit about him.
Looks like Alexis will be signing for Arsenal... good for them. I hope Brendan Rodgers will sign a real proven striker, not some kid with potential. We'll be lucky to even score half the number of goals as we did last year. It's fine if we can get a few players to strengthen our back line.
Well TBH didn't really see anything all that great about him.. He's still young and has potential but IDK if he would crack the Bayern starting 11. He plays LB and LW and yall have Alaba and Ribery there so not sure where he would play other than for rotational purposes.
I saw this on Marca a couple of days ago but didn't post it because it didn't make any sense to me as Keylor wants to play and no way he starts over Neur. If you follow Marca (Which I do) and all the other Spanish news papers you will know that they are more tabloids than anything. Sometimes they get things right but majority of times they just throw names out there. Only thing official from the player's manager is that it will be announced in a 2 or 3 days and that he will play in team competing in Champs League. I'm not saying he won't sign for Bayern but I will not believe this until it's officially announced.
^^ I posted new information a few hours ago. According to credible sources Bayern will activate his 10mil buyout clause today or tomorrow and are close to signing him. This is more than your typical tabloid rumors.
Just to make it a bit more logical, word is Neuer needs surgery on his shoulder after WC and will be out for a few months. Navas is likely to play in most cup matches etc anyways, similar to what happened in Madrid this season.
I am not saying Navas won't be signing with FCB but consider this and it is funny that Navas was the one harboring a slight shoulder injury having collided with a Greek player. FWIW
Ya will see this transfeeeer come truuuuue. Atletico and Portwo were said to be the only competitors and both netted other keepers today/yesterday.
