It will be good for the other NBA teams because they won't have to worry about Lebron anymore.

It will be bad for the NBA in general though because having your best player on a team that is run like a joke is bad for the league's ratings.

Cavs have more talent than the Heat, and he'd likely deliver Cleveland something most in the city have never seen, a championship.

Sportsbook.ag has moved the odds of Cleveland winning the 2014-15 championship from +4000 to +1700, better than the Rockets, Warriors, and Pacers

The Cavs just sent out a press release announcing David Blatt was named Euroleague coach of the year. At the urging of LeBron James' agent, the Cleveland Cavaliers are pursuing a maximum contract salary slot to bring back the free-agent superstar, league sources told Yahoo Sports.

Rich Paul, the president of Klutch Sports, has been funneling belief into the organization that the Cavaliers are in strong position to lure James from the Miami Heat, sources told Yahoo Sports.

For years, Paul has confided to people that bringing back James to Cleveland has been something of a mission for him, and he's encouraging Cavaliers officials to offer no restraint in the recruitment of James, sources said.

Initially I was pretty confident of this, but then I learned that Lebron and Tristan Thompson share agents. Guess who is coming off his rookie contract? I don't see how the Cavs can justify paying a fat salary to TT while also paying a newly extended Love.

If they are truly about loyalty and family, Wiggins will stay and TT will be the starting 4.

    Kyrie/Wiggins/Lebron/TT/Varejao

I certainly don't mind it because I want Bosh, but I just don't get it. LeBron going to Cleveland was a joke before the Cavs won the #1 pick. Is Wiggins, who despite the hype at the end of the day is an entirely untested rookie who probably won't be truly contributing to a playoff team for another two years, really the difference? Maybe if LeBron was younger I could see it, but I just don't.

Lebron calling ALL the shots if he goes back to cavs, I'm sure that's part of the cavs pitch bring in whoever you want.

You could see Allen, mike miller, love etc there...

Cavs have 3 first rounds picks in the 2015 draft and young talented players to work in trades, they are in a way better position than the heat. heat only have Napier under contract, don't even have a center

INTERESTING TIMING indeed - he received this award a few hours ago, and the Cavs just tweeted about it immediately afterwards, as if it were some sort of "current event".

Why not tweet about a few years later? Or why not invent a time machine, and go back a few years into the past and send out a tweet it then - my theory, and this is just a gut feeling - is that they are saving all of their time machine usage for *after* LeBron comes back to Cleveland, so that he can retroactively win 7 championships as promised. Also, Dan Gilbert has a few words he'd like to take back....

I can't wait to see the open letter from Dan Gilbert if they make a bunch of moves to make Lebron possible and then he signs elsewhere.

They are too young apart from Lebron to get the job done, despite their talent level. Maybe after 2 more years, I could see it happening.

How on earth would LeBron returning to Cleveland be bad for ratings? ESPN would pump that well dry and I believe most people watch LeBron play not because his the front of his jersey says "Miami," but because the back says "James."

It would be great for ratings if the Cavs are good, but if they are just another playoff team in the East? Not so good.

So, you subscribe to the myth that the Heat made LeBron and not the other way. Don't worry, it's OK to be dead wrong.

    Lebron is a planner

This was the plan all along. He knew if he never won he would never hear the end of it so he hedged his bet. Went away for 4 years and gave the Cavs a chance to draft high 4 years in a row. Now at 29 he returns to win big with young talent and 2 rings in the bag. It was a great plan and now its happening.

Wiggins will be an elite perimeter defender, and dont be so quick to count out Bennett he is a stretch 4 with a confidence boost he will be good.

LeBron would make Cleveland into the de facto best team in the East overnight - but still not good enough.

They would lose to the spurs and wouldn't even be as good as last year's Heat. Irving is good, LeBron is LeBron, Bennett stinks, Tristan Thompson is average, Varejao is breaking down, Waiters is average, Wiggins is a rookie who will be average at best in his first season. And the bench just lost their best guys in Hawes & Miles. LeBron would no doubt boost these guys from lotto losers to decent players, but it's a long way from where they need to be.

Maybe they resign Deng or something, I don't know, but their roster is still mostly trash even with LeBron.
