but we're basically in win now mode. if in three years, we haven't gotten past the second round, maury is going to get got.nature of the game. Nothing personal just business, as everyone likes to say.
Think there is a better chance Howard falls apart than Chris Bosh does. Bosh's game isn't built on athleticism or brute strength. Howard has been declining physically, I think we've all seen it.
Lebron is at a disadvantage vs. Jordan, Bird, Magic, Kobe, Shaq and the other multi-title greats because of the salary cap/luxury tax era and the poor decisions by Cleveland's front office during his first 6 years in the league. He has two choices now: he can stay in Miami and look at it as a 10 year plan with a top flight organization to add 1 or 2 more championships in the model of the Duncan/Spurs. The problem with that model is that for the next 2-3 years he is saddled with Wade's salary which is basically an albatross around the franchise because Wade is not an all star anymore. The second issue with Miami is that they've done a poor job developing young talent. Chalmers and Cole are not producing at the same level as Leonard, Danny Green, Patty Mills and Splitter. The other option he has is to go to a team with younger all-stars or budding stars, good bench depth and salary cap flexibility over the next few years and try to make that work. Those teams would include Phoenix, Golden St., Cleveland and possibly Houston. Any of those 4 teams could win the championship if Lebron joined them. Of these 4 teams, Cleveland and Phoenix make the most sense because he would be the face of the franchise and would not be displacing someone else. Of the two, Phoenix has the better management, coach and track record, but Cleveland is home. One championship in Cleveland would be worth 2 because of the story line and legacy impact. Other teams that could be in the mix are the Lakers, Clippers, Mavericks and Knicks, but I don't see any of those happening because he would have to displace a current star as the face of the franchise.
They should enough cap space for to sign LeBron without a deal I would think. Anyways, I'll believe it when I see it.
I'm still in the camp that thinks Bosh won't be neutered in Houston like he was in Miami. I mean if Howard of all people, with his playstyle, wasn't neutered in Houston then I don't think Bosh would be either.

What ? LeBron is at a massive advantage, the Heat wouldn't have been able to put that team together, it is the only reason he has titles, the Lakers went in to the tax range as well with Kobe
unnecessary drama, could be good for us. How they are going to beat the Spurs with this kind of disconnect I am not sure.
CHRIS BROUSARD! Grow up clutchfans! Stop starting threads based on this d******d. Cavs are after Lebron yes, Brousard has no idea who the favorite to get him is.
Broussard news about LBJ is usually spot on. Also, Cavaliers fans have been piecing the puzzle together. I'm convinced LeBron is going back to Cleveland, I will be shocked if he doesn't.
Lebron wins title for douche bag owner who failed to build a decent team despite getting top pick after top pick! Feel good story!
miami falls apart, BSPN has the biggest orgasm ever with Lebron returning to the Cavs.... Manziel and BronBron
Lebron is using Cleveland as leverage to force Bosh and Wade into taking a bigger discount or to force Riley to dump Bosh or Wade for Melo.
