But, if we did it, it could end up an S&T so that we wouldn't get cap space. Then we would have the MLE.
Basically this is Pat Riley and the Heat's way of pacifying LeBron James. They add Napier and now they are trying to add Melo to keep LeBron happy. That's why you are hearing reports about LeBron possibly going back to Cleveland. Not gonna happen while Dan Gilbert is still in charge. But its a positive PR spin that LeBro is considering going back home to Ohio. Cleveland never stood a chance. Miami is just hoping that Bosh can get the hint.
To the people complaining about giving Bosh the max or close to the max; why does it matter? We are going to be way over the cap anyway, regardless. Signing Bosh to a 'fair deal' of 14m/year then resigning Parsons to his 10m/year contract puts the Rockets over the cap so giving Bosh 6m/year more doesn't change anything. The only person who should care is Les and if his attitude of adding "terrific 3rd star" still hold, he doesn't care either. Will be interesting what could we do with Pelican pick. The value of the pick is at it's highest right now with it's spot being unknown. Could we flip that pick and Parsons for Rondo? Howard Bosh Does it matter who plays SF? Harden Rondo

This guy came up in one of our previous free agent pursuits but I can't remember which one. He seems to just throw a ton of **** at the wall to see what sticks. Still cool to see it on Twitter haha
Except we don't need the 24.3 mill in cap space, that would be his median salary. His starting salary would be like 22.5 million.
I would greatly prefer Bosh to Melo, fit is so much better. He addresses a glaring need at PF, he can spell at C when Dwight sits, he can stretch the floor (although his 3pt shooting is overrated IMHO) and he can space it, he can defend... He can do lots of things for us that Anthony can't. And he won't be a redundant piece, either. I am still having a hard time seeing this happen, but if anyone can make it happen, Morey can.
